Temporary Assignment. 11.01 Employees shall perform any temporary work which the management directs with the understanding that when an employee is assigned to a job with a lesser rate of pay, he shall receive his regular rate of pay.
Temporary Assignment. All MBUs who are District-initiated transfers or returning from leave of absence of more than one year may be temporarily assigned to positions other than posted vacancies, including substitute teacher positions, until they can be placed in a vacancy for which they are qualified. Such MBUs shall be placed in the first available vacancy for which they are qualified.
Temporary Assignment. (1) Assignment is the process by which the Employer may temporarily assign an employee to another worksite of the Employer or to another Employer within their cluster, healthcare region, or Community Health Council. Primary consideration will be given to offering the assignment by seniority if that is practical. The assignment will be by mutual agreement wherever possible, considering both the operational requirements of the Employer and the particular circumstances of the employee.
Temporary Assignment. Notwithstanding Article 2.04(b)(iii), Regular or Temporary Employees may be assigned to relieve others for additional duties.
Temporary Assignment. 32 If an employee who normally works a non-continuous 33 schedule is assigned to provide relief for a continuous duty post and that assignment 34 includes the time of the relief employee’s normally scheduled meal period, it will be treated 35 as a paid period following the conditions of “Section IV.C.3.a” above.
Temporary Assignment a) There is no obligation on the part of the University to fill a position which is temporarily vacated.
Temporary Assignment. The School District may fill a vacancy or new position, temporarily, pending completion of the assignment process.
Temporary Assignment. When the Corporation fills any position of Postmaster or Senior Assistant in the bargaining unit on a temporary basis, staffing action will be taken in the following order of priority:
Temporary Assignment. A staff member assigned by the University for twenty (20) working days or more to perform all, or the principal duties, of a position with a higher Ceiling shall receive a salary adjustment in accordance with article 21.07. Such acting pay is not payable to a staff member whose position requires the staff member to perform periodically the principal duties of the higher position. A staff member’s salary shall not be reduced as a result of temporary assignment by the University to a position with a lower ceiling.
Temporary Assignment. When an employee is temporarily assigned by the Employer to a position for which a higher rate of pay is applicable, he/she will receive the salary rate for the assigned position in accordance with the promotional procedure as outlined in clause 25.07, provided that he/she fills that position for a period of at least one (1) day.
