Telecommunications Circuit. A new Telco fiber facility will be required at the Grissom Solar Collector Substation for protection systems and data transmittal. The new fiber facility shall provide: one (1) DS1 circuit from the Grissom Solar Collector Substation to Connecting Transmission Owner’s Florida Substation for the DTT; one (1) DS1 circuit from the Grissom Solar Collector Substation to Connecting Transmission Owner’s Ephratah Substation for the DTT; one (1) T1 MPLS for energy management system and report transmitting unit (“EMS-RTU”); and one (1) plain old telephone service (“POTs”) line for station voice communication.
Telecommunications Circuit. A new Telco fiber facility will be required at the Hilltop Solar Collector Station for protection systems and data transmittal. The new fiber facility shall provide: • one (1) DS1 circuit from the Hilltop Solar Collector Station to the Schaghticoke Substation; • one (1) DS1 circuit from the Hilltop Solar Collector Station to the Eastover Substation; • one (1) plain old telephone service (“POTs”) line; and • one (1) T1 MPLS circuit for energy management system-remote terminal unit (“EMS- RTU”). The Interconnection Customer is responsible for ordering the fiber facility required at the Hilltop Solar Collector Substation and provisioning the T1 MPLS circuit. The Connecting Transmission Owner will provision the Verizon DS1 circuits from Hilltop Solar Collector Substation to the Schaghticoke and Eastover Substations. (Note: Verizon may retire T1 services in the future. If T1 circuits are not available at the time of project implementation, alternative technologies will be required which could change the overall cost of the telecom solution.) To the extent the Small Generating Facility feeder lines, communication circuits, access roads, and/or driveways cross Connecting Transmission Owner-owned transmission or distribution circuits, such crossings must be reviewed by the Connecting Transmission Owner in accordance with the Connecting Transmission Owner’s land use requirements. Per the Project Specific Specifications (defined below), feeder line crossings shall be underground so as to maintain the reliability of service provided by the Connecting Transmission Owner to other customers via the impacted transmission and distribution facilities.
Telecommunications Circuit. The Company shall have sole responsibility for providing, installing, and commissioning all the facilities and equipment for telemetering, communication, control, and monitoring, including voice channels, which may be required for the Facility to interface with DPDC SCADA System, including any RTU(s) within the Facility.

Telecommunications Circuit. The Sky High Solar Collector Substation will include a new Verizon fiber facility that shall provide: • one (1) DS1 circuit from the Sky High Solar Collector Substation to the Xxxxxx Substation; • one (1) DS1 circuit from the Sky High Solar Collector Substation to the Cortland Substation; • one (1) DS1 circuit from the Sky High Solar Collector Substation to Connecting Transmission Owner’s Syracuse office complex to support teleprotection; • one (1) DS1 multiprotocol label switching and virtual private network (“MPLS VPN”) circuit for emergency management system-remote telemetry unit (“EMS-RTU”); and • one (1) plain old telephone service (“POTs”) line for station voice communication.
Telecommunications Circuit. For Generator Tie Line protection, DTT, and data transmittal, the Developer will install two (2) 24-strand, 1300 nm, single mode, fiber optic communication cables between the Ball Hill Collector Substation and the Xxxxxxxx Road Station. Connecting Transmission Owner standards require that the primary and secondary protection telecom circuits be physically separate and fully independent of each other. The Developer shall provide a DNP protocol enabled port on the RTU at the Ball Hill Collector Substation. The Developer’s RTU at the Ball Hill Collector Station shall connect at Xxxxxxxx Road Station to a RS-232 serial port on the GarrettCom DX- 940, or one of the RTUs, via the Developer’s fiber line between the two stations.
Telecommunications Circuit. The Interconnection Customer will be responsible for bringing a new telco fiber facility from the local carrier to the Hawthorn Solar Collector Substation. In accordance with Electric System Bulletins (“ESBs”), the Interconnection Customer shall: • install a dedicated 4’x8’x3/4” backboard for cable termination and local carrier equipment installation; • construct two (2) 4” Schedule 80 conduits from the meet point outside the Hawthorn Solar Collector Substation into the control house (if required by the local carrier) for telecom cable placement; and • provide a dedicated DC power rack (the DC power rack will contain a DC/DC converter system to convert 125VDC station battery to -48VDC). The rack will also contain a 125VDC to 120VAC inverter. DC power rack output will support the telco fiber mux equipment. The Interconnection Customer shall order one (1) Verizon MPLS T1/128K circuit or 10Mb/s ethernet for the SCADA/RTU at the site. (Note: Verizon may retire T1 services in the future. If T1 circuits are not available at the time of project implementation, alternative technologies will be required which could change the overall cost of the telecom solution.) Once the telco fiber facility is installed at the Hawthorn Solar Collector Substation and the Interconnection Customer has completed all make ready work, the Connecting Transmission Owner will order the point-to-point tele-protection circuits between the Hawthorn Solar Collector Substation and the remote substations (North Xxxx and Hoosick). The Connecting Transmission Owner’s revenue meter will require a communications link to its RTU. In accordance with the ESBs, the Interconnection Customer shall install a conduit for the communication cables that will run between meter equipment enclosure and RTU enclosure in the Hawthorn Solar Collector Substation control house. The Connecting Transmission Owner will specify and run the communication cables between the meter equipment and RTU enclosures. (Note: Third party telecommunications are potentially long lead time items). To the extent the Small Generating Facility feeder lines, communication circuits, access roads, and/or driveways cross Connecting Transmission Owner-owned transmission or distribution circuits, such crossings must be reviewed by the Connecting Transmission Owner in accordance with the Connecting Transmission Owner’s land use requirements.
