Technological Improvements. The Company shall use its best efforts to incorporate, as soon as practicable, technological advances in its equipment and service within the City when such advances are technically and economically feasible and are safe and beneficial to the City and its Residents.
Technological Improvements. (A) The Company shall generally introduce and install, as soon as practicable, technological advances in its equipment and Utility Service within the Town when such advances are technically and economically feasible, and are safe and beneficial to the Town and its Residents. (B) While maintaining flexibility in the provision of Utility Services, the Company's system shall, at all times, be no less advanced than any other system operated by the Company within the Company's service area; provided, however, should an upgrade of the Utility Services provided to customers within the Town be requested by the Town Board of Trustees, the Company shall have the right to meet, confer, and negotiate with the Town concerning the economic practicality of such an upgrade, giving due consideration to the remaining term of the Franchise and other reasonable incentives. The Company shall submit to the Town related information upon the Town Board of Trustees' request, including, but not limited to a plan for provision of such services, or a justification indicating the reason(s) such services are not feasible for the Company's customers within the Town. Company retains the right to make the final decision as to the technological improvements and/or upgrades made by the Company.
Technological Improvements. The Parties agree that the Scope of Services may evolve and be supplemented, modified, enhanced, and/or replaced from time to time during the Term. From time to time during the Term, but not less than once each year, SCN shall suggest, and the Parties will consider, along with other factors affecting ANAHEIM’s need for Technology Services, any changes needed or desired to keep pace with and utilize, the latest and most useful technological advancements and improvements. Procurement of Products associated with any such technological advancements and improvements shall be subject to Section 3.3 of this Agreement.

Technological Improvements. 32.01 The Company is firmly committed to the principle of technological innovation in all the areas of its activities, services and products, and this commitment continues to represent the best way to ensure future jobs to employees. 32.02 Whenever technological improvements are introduced, the Company trains, from among the employees whose jobs are directly affected, those who are required to operate the new equipment. Employees are offered training on all shifts on the basis of their seniority provided they have the required qualifications or equivalent work experience allowing the acquisition of the new required skills. Training time is paid by the Company. 32.03 When a position is abolished as a result of the introduction of new equipment, the Company, together with the Union, evaluates the possibility of promoting, reclassifying or transferring the affected employees to another classification according to their skills. The surplus employee may, in accordance with the provisions of article 26, claim a vacant position or bump the employee with the least seniority. 32.04 The employee who wishes to exercise this right must have the necessary qualifications for the position and be able to perform the work in a satisfactory manner within the next 20 working days. The Company trains the employee during this period. The parties may agree on an extension of the training period, if necessary.
Technological Improvements. In the event that there is a technological improvement that provides opportunities for additional savings, the Party identifying such improvement will request that ISSC perform a preliminary savings analysis. The Parties will then jointly review the results of this preliminary analysis and discuss the impact on each Party's performance hereunder, including any new hardware and/or software, other capital, one-time charges, or changes to other resources that may be required to take advantage of such technological improvements. If the Parties agree to implement changes in the Services rendered by ISSC hereunder to take advantage of some or all of such technological improvements, then the Parties will Jointly prepare a technology implementation plan that defines such changes and the timing and cost of their implementation, and such changes will be treated as Replacement Services, subject to Sections 6.5.a and 6.5.
Technological Improvements. Project Co shall monitor and keep up to-date on all technological developments and improvements which may have a beneficial effect on public communication and engagement or improve Project Co’s ability to give effect to the provisions of this Schedule 12 [Public Communications and Public Engagement]. If there is any technological development or improvement which, taking into account the financial viability of implementing any such development or improvement as determined by Project Co, can improve Project Co’s ability to provide communication and public engagement under this Schedule 12 [Public Communications and Public Engagement] and/or improve Project Co’s ability to give effect to the provisions hereof, Project Co shall submit the proposed development or improvement under Schedule 2 [Submittal Review Procedure]. The City may periodically, at its discretion, request that Project Co investigate and/or incorporate certain technological improvements that the City has determined will have a beneficial effect on communication and public engagement activities pursuant to Schedule 13 [Changes].
Technological Improvements. United Power may install future improvements and technological advances to its equipment and service within the Town, at United Power’s discretion (but upon reasonable notice to the Town), when such improvements and advances are technologically and economically feasible, and safe and beneficial to the Town and in accordance with all Town ordinances and regulations. At a minimum, United Power shall install future improvements and technological advances to its equipment and service within the Town that are equivalent to the improvements United Power installs in similarly sized and situated municipalities. Technological Improvements. The Association shall generally introduce and install electrical energy technological advances in its equipment and service within the City when such advances are technically and economically feasible and are safe and beneficial to the City and its residents. Such technological advances may include advances relating to communications systems such as fiber optics which may utilize electric facilities already in place for the transmission of communication signals, which facilities may be installed by the Association for its use or for use of others as the Association may license.
