Technological Change - Lay-off. The employer agrees to take all reasonable steps so that an employee will not lose employment because of changes outlined in 14.01. Normal turnover of employees to the extent that it arises during the period when this change occurs, will be utilized to absorb employees who otherwise would be displaced. When it is necessary to reduce staff due to the changes outlined in 14.01, lay-offs will be done in accordance with the provisions of Article 10.05.
