Teaching Method. Parents and/or guardians declare that the provision of educational services offered by Colegio Xxxxxxxxx will be carried out under the educational teaching method which is established sporadically by the Ministry of Education in the exercise of its guiding functions (e.g. face-to-face, remote or an alternation or combination thereof or similar) and according to the best practices implemented by Colegio Xxxxxxxxx. The change of method and any relevant aspects related to the educational services provided by Colegio Xxxxxxxxx will be promptly communicated to parents and/or guardians. Cost of the service: Parents and/or guardians declare to know and agree with the information related to the cost of educational service described below and the other conditions informed upon the student’s acceptance to Colegio Roosevelt, as well as the legal and philosophical framework observed by Colegio Xxxxxxxxx and the School's Internal Bylaws. Parents and/or guardians understand that Colegio Roosevelt’s Board of Directors has the right to review tuition fees annually. Parents and/or guardians declare to know and agree to (i) the monthly tuition fee and reduced monthly fees with elective tuition reductions indicated in the table in this section, respectively; (ii) that, to the extent that parents and/or guardians comply with the requirements established for this purpose in the Registration Online, have the right to opt for the monthly tuition with elective reduction, (iii) that the option referred to in numeral (ii) above can be exercised both, when performing the Registration Online process on the school's web portal (ROL) and at any later time during the school year 2021-2022, as long as educational services are provided exclusively under the teaching method of remote teaching by sending an email to xxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxx.xx, and (iv) that monthly tuition fees with elective reduction will only apply for the period when educational services are provided exclusively under the remote education method. Colegio Roosevelt will inform parents and/or guardians in a timely manner of the date from which educational services will no longer be provided exclusively under the educational modality of remote teaching, in accordance with the provisions issued by the Ministry of Education. Related to Teaching Method

  • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD A. As professionals, teachers are expected to devote to their assignments the time necessary to meet their responsibilities, but they shall not be required to “clock in or clock out” by hours and minutes. Teachers shall indicate their presence for duty by placing their signature and time in the proper column of the faculty “sign-in” roster.

  • Teaching Load Full teaching assignments shall normally include 12 course credit hours of scheduled teaching per academic quarter. A reassignment of duty, for the equivalent of 3 or 4 credit course, shall be provided during one term of the first academic year to all newly hired tenure track faculty to further their teaching, scholarship and service and to encourage faculty retention. Wherever possible the University will endeavor to arrange teaching schedules that avoid excessive numbers of preparations and recognize evening and/or off-campus assignments. Class sizes will be established and monitored by the appropriate academic xxxx in consultation with division chairs and affected faculty each term. The following equivalencies will be used in determining teaching assignments:

  • Teaching Loads The range of teaching loads, number of preparations and number of pupil contacts required should provide for effective instruction and meaningful teacher-student interaction. DPS and the Association agree to work together to seek increased state funding to decrease class size. The principal shall report to the CSC, after the roster verification process, the number of students in each class and this will be published in the CSC minutes on the school’s website. For the purposes of this section, a “class” shall be defined as any general education, including electives and model one classes. Upon request, after the roster verification process, the District shall provide the Association with the student information management system data regarding class enrollment.

  • Teaching Schedule Teaching schedules shall be established, if practicable, so that the time between the beginning of the first assignment and the end of the last for any one day does not exceed eight (8) hours.

  • Academic Year Academic Year is defined as beginning with the start of fall semester and ending with the completion of spring semester.

  • Teaching Assistants 1. All Teaching Assistants shall receive the same remuneration per base unit and the difference between the amount paid a Graduate Teaching Assistant and other Teaching Assistants is an associated scholarship. See XIII D. for appropriate compensation.
