Teaching Contract. You may be required to enter into a contract with the school in which you will be based. If this is necessary, details will be included in the programme information. In all cases, please note: ▪ Precise working conditions as well as holiday / term dates may vary between different schools and regions ▪ You will be expected to dress and behave appropriately for work in accordance with the cultural norms in your destination country. These may be very different from those in your home country. Nutty’s Adventures will not be able to help you if your placement is terminated because you refuse to comply with your school’s expectations in relation to style of dress, hair or personal adornment (eg piercings and tattoos) ▪ You will be expected to take care of, and be responsible for, any materials provided for your use by your school. You may be held financially responsible for any damage or loss caused to such materials ▪ You will be subject to your destination country’s laws during your programme, and it is imperative that you comply with these. Nutty’s Adventures accepts no liability should you choose to violate any laws during your programme and / or if your placement is terminated as a result of you violating such laws ▪ Your school reserves the right to terminate your placement should you violate any of the work rules and regulations set by the school. In this case neither the school, nor Nutty’s Adventures will have any responsibility for any costs incurred ▪ You will be held financially responsible for any damage to accommodation provided through your programme, whether caused by you or by somebody who is in your accommodation with your permission.
Teaching Contract. Student will separately enter into a teaching contract (the “Teaching Contract”) with a designated school for a period of time commensurate with an academic term. Student will properly fulfill Student’s obligations under the Teaching Contract for the entire duration of the Teaching Contract.

In 2022 – 2023 the hiring base shall be $41,500.00. MLS School District #1 will pay both the employees and employers share of a licensed staff members TFFR. Each fulltime teacher employed by MLS School District #1 during the 2020- 2021 shall receive a $1,200.00 raise from their 2020-2021 contract for the 2021 – 2022 year. Each part-time teacher will receive a prorated raise from their 2020-2021 contract for the 2021- 2022 year. Each fulltime teacher employed by MLS School District #1 during 2021 – 2022 shall receive a $1,200.00 raise from their 2021 – 2022 contract for the 2022 – 2023 school year. Each part-time teacher will receive a prorated raise from their 2021-2022 contract for the 2022 – 2023 school year. New Teachers to the MLS District shall be able to bring into the new district a maximum of fifteen (15) years of teaching experience at an increment of $550.00 per year. The MLS Board may adjust the experience factor up based on the needs of the district upon recommendation of the superintendent. Teachers with a Master’s Degree in their assigned teaching field will be paid $2,000.00. Each teacher shall have the option of automatically deducting from their paycheck for a savings or flex plan by notifying the business manager. Each teacher shall have the option of having professional dues deducted from their paycheck by notifying the business manager. Pay periods shall be monthly. Teachers will be paid on the 20th or the last working day before the 20th. Teachers receiving salaries in 12 payments may receive their remaining salaries no later than June 30.

  • Teaching Load Full teaching assignments shall normally include 12 course credit hours of scheduled teaching per academic quarter. A reassignment of duty, for the equivalent of 3 or 4 credit course, shall be provided during one term of the first academic year to all newly hired tenure track faculty to further their teaching, scholarship and service and to encourage faculty retention. Wherever possible the University will endeavor to arrange teaching schedules that avoid excessive numbers of preparations and recognize evening and/or off-campus assignments. Class sizes will be established and monitored by the appropriate academic xxxx in consultation with division chairs and affected faculty each term. The following equivalencies will be used in determining teaching assignments:

  • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD A. As professionals, teachers are expected to devote to their assignments the time necessary to meet their responsibilities, but they shall not be required to “clock in or clock out” by hours and minutes. Teachers shall indicate their presence for duty by placing their signature and time in the proper column of the faculty “sign-in” roster.

  • Teaching Loads The range of teaching loads, number of preparations and number of pupil contacts required should provide for effective instruction and meaningful teacher-student interaction. DPS and the Association agree to work together to seek increased state funding to decrease class size. The principal shall report to the CSC, after the roster verification process, the number of students in each class and this will be published in the CSC minutes on the school’s website. For the purposes of this section, a “class” shall be defined as any general education, including electives and model one classes. Upon request, after the roster verification process, the District shall provide the Association with the student information management system data regarding class enrollment.

  • TEACHING CONDITIONS The parties recognize that the availability of optimum school facilities for both student and teacher is desirable to insure the high quality of education that is the goal of both the teacher and the Board. It is also acknowledged that the primary duty and responsibility of the teacher is to teach and that the organization of the school and the school day should be directed at insuring that the energy of the teacher is primarily utilized to this end.

  • CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.

  • Teaching Schedule Teaching schedules shall be established, if practicable, so that the time between the beginning of the first assignment and the end of the last for any one day does not exceed eight (8) hours.

  • Standards of Service 1. Company shall at all times during the term hereof maintain a sufficient number of properly trained personnel to ensure that all customers of Company receive prompt and courteous service at all times, and all such personnel, while on or about the Premises, shall be polite, clean, appropriately attired and neat in appearance. Employees of Company shall wear appropriate identification badges, subject to the approval of the Chief Executive Officer, and employees performing similar jobs shall wear similar uniforms, which shall be clean and pressed.

  • Reaching Agreement When agreement is reached covering the areas under discussion, the proposed Agreement shall be reduced in writing as a memorandum of understanding and signed by a representative of each negotiating team. Agreement on individual items during the negotiations is binding only when all items are agreed upon. Procedures for ratification of the Agreement by the Association and the Board shall be completed within ten (10) school days after the conclusion of negotiations.

  • Terms of Service In a Cloud environment, Red Hat’s Software Subscriptions may provide you with access to the Software and associated maintenance (updates, upgrades, corrections, security advisories and bug fixes), if and when available, in the form of software images intended to be deployed as virtual instances. Payments to Red Hat for Software Subscriptions do not include any fees that may be due to the Vendor for the Vendor’s Cloud services. Red Hat is not a party to your agreement with the Vendor and is not responsible for providing access to the Vendor’s Cloud or any other obligations of the Vendor under such agreement. The Vendor is solely responsible and liable for the Vendor’s Cloud. You may use the Services only for your own internal use within the Vendor’s Cloud. Use of the Software Subscription other than as set forth herein, including either access to the Software and/or Services outside the Vendor Cloud will be subject to additional fees as set forth in Section 5 below.

  • INTEREST IN TEACHING PUPILS The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates an 29 understanding of and commitment to each pupil, taking into account each individual's unique 30 background and characteristics. The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates enthusiasm for or 31 enjoyment in working with pupils.
