Teacher Safety. Unit members will report to the principal conditions that are unsafe for unit members. The site administrator will respond to the unit member as soon as practicable regarding the unsafe condition. If the unit member does not receive a response within a reasonable period of time, the unit member may then notify the site administrator in writing of the unsafe condition. The site administrator will provide a written response within two workdays.
Teacher Safety. 15.1 Employees shall not be required to work under unsafe or hazardous conditions or to perform tasks which endanger their health, safety, or well being. Employees shall not be required to intercede in altercations at school related public events under circumstances that would be likely to cause serious risk of bodily harm.
Teacher Safety. 13.1 When a student receives a disciplinary referral from a teacher, the teacher shall so inform his/her immediate administrator or designee, and upon his/her request attempt to contact the parent or guardian. The administrator or designee shall meet with the student to remedy the problem. This will be done prior to the student's return to the classroom.
Teacher Safety. A. Every reasonable effort will be made to provide an adequate, wholesome and safe environment which is conducive to the education process.
Teacher Safety. The Board agrees to provide safe working conditions as required by law. The Association agrees that bargaining unit members will observe safe working practices and will promptly report any observed unsafe practices or conditions to the administration.

Teacher Safety. 16.1.1 Unit members shall immediately report cases of assault suffered by them in connection with their employment to their principal or other immediate superior who shall immediately report the incident to the police. The District shall comply with the California Education Code provisions that protect unit members from assault (verbal or physical), which occur during the scheduled workday, including during the performance of assigned adjunct duties.
Teacher Safety. 7.1 Unit members shall not be required to work under unsafe, hazardous, or unsanitary conditions. Unit members shall not be asked to perform tasks which endanger their health, safety, nor the health and safety of others.
Teacher Safety. 8.1 Teachers shall immediately report cases of assault or threat of assault suffered by them in connection with their employment, or unsafe conditions, to their principal or other immediate supervisor who shall take appropriate action.
Teacher Safety. A. Teachers shall not be required to work under unsafe or hazardous conditions. It is the responsibility of teachers to be alert in observing dangerous conditions, to make corrections within the scope of their authority, and to report conditions outside the scope of their authority to persons having District safety responsibilities. The District shall take reasonable steps necessary to correct such conditions.
