Teacher Experience. A teacher with outside teaching experience who enters the North Mac School District for the first time shall receive one year’s credit for each previous year’s teaching experience up to a maximum of eight years. Teaching experience shall mean conducting classes on a full-time basis in a public or private school while in possession of a teaching certificate (excluding substitute or emergency certificates) valid for the level and type of teaching being done, and for a full school year or 180 days and 7.25 hours per day, whichever is less.

Teacher Experience a) Teachers with prior teaching experience shall be given full credit for such prior experience and shall be placed on the appropriate step of the salary schedule commensurate with said prior experience. Included in such prior experience credit shall be years of teaching service in the Armed Forces of the United States, in the National Teacher Corps, or time spent on academic scholarships that have been earned as a result of prior teaching experience. DEFINITIONS:
Teacher Experience. In determining the amount of teacher experience, either within or outside the District, less than ninety (90) days will not be considered enough days to advance on the salary schedule, while having taught at least ninety (90) days as a full-time teacher will be counted as one year for advancement purposes on the salary schedule.

  • General Experience The Applicant shall meet the following minimum criteria: -

  • Education and Experience ▪ Secondary School Honour Graduation, plus a minimum of 13 years' pertinent experience or the equivalent in experience, additional education and/or training; OR ▪ Graduation from a recognized institute of advanced technology, or equivalent formal education, and a minimum of nine years' pertinent technological experience.

  • Experience A minimum of 1 year of IT work experience in computer systems or support with demonstrated working knowledge of basic hardware and software products and problem solving/troubleshooting skills.

  • Work Experience Formula hour equivalents will be given on the basis of the following number of students enrolled at fourth week census: 5-14 students enrolled = 1 (one) formula hour 15-24 students enrolled = 2 (two) formula hours 25-34 students enrolled = 3 (three) formula hours

  • Education, Training and Experience Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • TEACHER EVALUATION A. All monitoring or observation of the work performance of a teacher shall be conducted openly and with full knowledge of the teacher.
