Task Forces. The Chair, in consultation with the Steering Committee, shall appoint necessary Task Forces to accomplish projects of limited duration.
Task Forces. The parties agree to the following procedures regarding the establishment and organization of task forces working in conjunction with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. General: ▪ Probation Officers chosen to serve on the task force shall be members of the bargaining unit represented by the union. ▪ Probation Officers shall serve on the task force for a period of up to three years. ▪ It is the philosophy of the parties that the task force position should rotate every three years to qualified officers. Should at the end of the three-year term no applicants apply or it is determined by the employer that the applicants are not suitable for the task force, then the current task force Probation Officer may reapply for a successive three-year term. ▪ Task force officers will return to their previous position at the end of the three-year term. ▪ Within the three-year term should the employer feel the task force officer has been inappropriately placed on the task force, the employer may return the officer to their previous position and reopen the task force position. Recruitment and Selection: ▪ The employer will advertise open task force positions for a period of not less than ten (10) business days. ▪ Task force positions will be available only to those Probation Officers working in the office which has a task force agreement with the law enforcement agency that has oversight. ▪ Probation Officers interested in serving on the task force shall write a letter of application and submit the letter to their Deputy Chief. ▪ Applicants must have a minimum of four years’ experience as a Probation Officer with the Department of Corrections. ▪ Applicants will not be considered if they are under discipline or on a plan of improvement. ▪ Applicants must be in compliance with all department required training. ▪ Applicants may be required to complete validated physical abilities testing, due to the law enforcement deputized and physical nature of task force assignments. ▪ Applicants will be interviewed by a team composed of the employer’s management for that office and representatives from the law enforcement agency with oversight of the task force. ▪ Probation Officers chosen to serve on the task force shall be by a joint decision of the employer and the law enforcement agency with oversight of the task force. ▪ Should no applicants apply for a newly created task force position, the employer may assign a Probation Officer to the task force. Task Forces. The Superintendent will establish and/or continue the following Task Forces: the High School Task Force, the Middle School Task Force, the Elementary School Task Force, and the Curriculum Task Force. They shall review and address issues relating to education in each of these areas. The Task Forces shall be structured as follows:
Task Forces a. Task Forces may be established, by mutual agreement to investigate specific problems or concerns and seek solutions to these problems or concerns.

Each Sponsoring Agency is responsible for recruiting and organizing a Task Force consisting of individuals occupying certain specified positions plus additional support personnel, all of whom have been properly trained with the requisite skills and capabilities required for urban search and rescue operations and/or deployment of the Task Force. A Task Force may be deployed as a single unit or it may be reorganized into teams for purposes of modularized responses for limited or specialized Activations. Members of a Task Force may also be deployed as members of a management or other technical team.

Task Forces. The Board may appoint task forces as necessary to advise it on a variety of accounting matters. Task forces will play an important role in the accounting standard-setting process. They will provide expert views and recommend solutions to issues or problems.
Task Forces. (1) In order to achieve and to carry out the Plan of Activities, the Parties shall establish Task Forces not later than thirty (30) calendar days after the agreement on the Plan of Activities that defines such Task Force.
Task Forces. School Task Forces are temporary bodies of SNL Resident Faculty and Staff tasked to address extraordinary issues outside of the regular functions and responsibilities of standing committees. They allow for concentrated effort to study urgent problems or to provide focused effort in support of the exploration, development, and implementation of innovative programs. While it is the responsibility of standing committees to maintain the quality of SNL programs and to elevate the primary school functions of advising, assessment and instruction, task forces are generally created so that SNL constituencies can: (1) provide management in the design of new initiatives; (2) develop policies for standing committees; (3) identify and define principles that inform SNL’s work, and (4) research a problem and propose solutions. ACCIL is responsible for considering all requests for the creation of task forces that require faculty membership. See Appendix D, which outlines the process by which standing committees, the Xxxx, individual or a group of faculty members, staff and administrators can request for a task force to be formed, the guidelines and process that will govern the creation of task forces and the appointment of task force members.
