Common use of Task Force Clause in Contracts

Task Force. A. The parties reiterate their mutual commitment to quality patient care. In a joint effort to ensure optimal nursing care and maintain professional standards, a task force shall be established to examine nursing practice, staffing and payroll issues, status of outstanding grievances that are not disciplinary, notices and updates regarding unit restructures, key nursing initiatives (which could include Magnet status, Releasing Time to Care, Medicare Hospital Value Based Purchasing) and Medical Center workplace process improvement projects. Agendas will be developed jointly along with an annual calendar scheduling routine outline updates (where possible). Agenda will include a schedule of staffing committee meetings. Failure of the task force to agree on a matter will not be grievable and will not be deemed to be a reopener of the Agreement.
