Class Recordings Students may not record classroom lectures without instructor consent. If instructor permission is given, recordings may be used for the student’s individual educational purposes only and must be deleted upon completion of the course. Class recordings cannot be posted online, shared with others, or distributed without explicit permission from the instructor. Students who violate this policy may be subject to discipline. Synchronous. Is when instruction and learning occur at the same time. Synchronous activities may include: live class meetings, chats, student conferences, etc. and are structured, coordinated and implemented within the school site’s master schedule/regular school day. ● Asynchronous: Is when instruction and learning do not occur at the same time. Asynchronous activities may include journal writes, assessments, collaborative student group work, etc. and may be scheduled within or outside of the school day.
Synchronous. Teachers will provide no less than 3 hours of synchronous instruction per day for a total of 15 hours per week which can include whole group, small group or a combination based on student needs through Zoom or Google Meet. As required under SB 98, teachers will hold a daily morning meeting through Google meet or Zoom of no less than 20 minutes for all students on all school calendar days (180 days). Attendance will be taken in this meeting. Activities should be scheduled for the purposes of maintaining school connectedness, instruction, and progress monitoring. Integrated and designated ELD lessons will be taught as required by law. Designated ELD will be provided to students 20 minutes per day in groups or individually which may be included in the 3 hours of synchronous instruction per day. Lessons will be aligned to the district scope and sequence for essential standards and the SWUN pacing guides. VAPA teachers will provide a lesson once per week per assigned class through Zoom, not to exceed fifteen

Synchronous area monitor The Nordic TSOs appointed Svenska kraftnät as the synchronous area monitor of the Nordic System. Since the Nordic synchronous area geographically corresponds with the Nordic LFC block, the synchronous area monitor works in close cooperation with the LFC block monitor on the implementation of its tasks. The synchronous area monitor shall implement the data collection and delivery process, which includes: • measurements of the system frequency; • calculation of the frequency quality evaluation data; and • delivery of the frequency quality evaluation data for the criteria application process The synchronous area monitor shall once every 3 months and within 3 months after the end of the analysed period (see chapter 12). • collect frequency quality evaluation data; and • calculate frequency quality evaluation criteria. With respect to the system states, the synchronous area monitor shall: • determine the system state with regard to the system frequency in accordance with Article 18(1) and (2) of the SOGL; • ensure that all TSOs of all synchronous areas are informed in case the system frequency deviation fulfils one of the criteria for the alert state referred to in Article 18.
