Switching Shifts. Provided that no overtime costs are incurred, and patient care is not adversely affected, Bargaining Unit Employees may switch shifts of work, as long as they give the Employer written notice signed by both employees and approved by Staffing Coordinator / Designee.
Switching Shifts. The current practice of switching shifts shall continue, such that employees are entitled to switch shifts provided said change is approved by the appropriate manager. To obtain approval, both employees impacted by the switch, must speak with the appropriate manager. In the event that a shift switch is approved, the schedule will be updated to reflect the new shift assignment(s).
Switching Shifts. 30.1 If an employee wishes to switch a shift with a co-worker in the same classification, the employees involved must notify the Company in writing, on a form to be supplied, a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours prior to the shift, ex- cept in cases of emergency.
Switching Shifts. 24.01 With respect to employees entering into shift exchange agreements for legitimate reasons in a manner that benefits employees on a short-term temporary basis while ensuring the Company is adequately staffed at all times in accordance with the following:

The Manager or designate may approve a shift switch with less than forty-eight (48) hours notice at his/her discretion where there are extenuating circumstances.
Switching Shifts. Employees may choose to swap shifts. The shift swap must be approved in advance by the store owner, an assistant manager, or in certain cases, a department head. The affected employees must agree in advance in writing to the swap. If an employee or employees are unavailable to provide such written confirmation, the store owner, assistant manager, or department head must confirm in writing that the affected swapping employee(s) have given verbal approval. Department heads can only give such approvals within their own departments. The Employer will incur no additional costs for shift swaps.
Switching Shifts. 27.01 Switching shifts can only be done with the advanced approval of the Company.
Switching Shifts. Employees shall notify their Supervisor(s) of proposed shift exchanges in advance. The Supervisor’s approval shall not be unreasonably denied. As this is a continuing privilege, the employees concerned shall be responsible for ensuring that the shift is properly covered. The Employer will not be required to pay overtime which could arise as a result of a shift exchange.

Part-time employees may regularly work in excess of twenty-for (24) hours per week when replacing employees on a shift switch. No employee shall accept or solicit any monetary or other type of gain as the result of a shift switch. Any infraction of this Article will result in appropriate disciplinary action.
