Swim Meets. Each active family is required to work at least one shift each day of all Team Hosted meets. Swim meets are bid on in February and May for the following swim year of September to August. The calendar on the Team website will be updated each year depending on the number of meets GGST is awarded for the swim year. In order to receive credit for your shifts, you MUST check-in and check-out at the beginning and ending of each job assignment. Once you sign up for a position, it is your responsibility to fulfill those duties. If you cannot work your shift, you must find a replacement. You must inform the Volunteer Coordinator of this change. Please note: the shifts worked remain with the original shift holder. If a scheduled assignment is not honored by you, or your replacement, your Gator account will be charged $75 per shift. In addition, each family is required to work one shift each day in which they have a swimmer signed up to swim in a non-hosted swim meet (for example, timing at away meets, if given this assignment). Swim Meets. (A) Lessee shall be responsible to provide all the coaches, workers and representatives needed to host Swim Meets at the Premises, including but not limited to game management of the facility.
Swim Meets. Habersham County shall provide clear and accessible entrance to restroom facilities to all patrons at the Aquatic Center during hosted swim meets.
Swim Meets. I acknowledge that Velocity is a competitive swim team and will make every effort to sign my swimmer up for swim meets. If I sign my swimmer up for a swim meet, I am responsible for the meet fees incurred for the meet, even if my swimmer is not able to attend the meet. This will include coach-assigned relay entries. If my swimmer is a no show for a relay, my swimmer shall be billed for the full cost of the relay. I acknowledge that all swim meets have different levels of fees. It is my responsibility to read the meet invite to be aware of additional fees.
Swim Meets. A. Home swim meets shall be scheduled on Wednesday evenings (5:00 pm — 9:30 pm) or Saturday mornings (8:00 am — 1:00 pm). REST has the option of scheduling swim meets on either Wednesday or Thursday nights, but never in the same week.
Swim Meets. Swimmers are encouraged to compete in any and all meets for which they are qualified. It is each swimmers responsibility to enter meets by filling out meet registration forms and pay the appropriate fees before the meet deadline. It is also acceptable for a swimmer to choose to trai n but not to compete in USA or Masters swimming or USA Water Polo events. At the Coaches discretion, some meets will be entered by the coach.
Swim Meets. Parent’s Fitness center account (member and/or non-member account) will directly be charged for swim meet entry fees. All swim meet entry fees will include a $5 administration fee.
