Suspension Without Pay. A teacher may be suspended without pay for just cause. Any such suspension is subject to the grievance procedure. Notice: Suspension shall take effect upon the teacher's receipt of written notification from the superintendent of schools to the teacher, stating the grounds for suspension. The teacher may make a written request within ten (10) working days after receipt of such notification for a hearing before the School Board to review the suspension. If no hearing is requested by the teacher within the time limits specified, it shall be deemed acquiescence by the teacher to the suspension.
