Suspension Pending Investigation. In the event a member is suspended pending investigation for any reason, and as a result of the investigation is exonerated of the charges causing the suspension, he/she shall be compensated for all back wages lost due to the suspension, as determined by the arbitrator. The Sheriff may suspend employees pending investigation with or without pay, as determined by the Sheriff, in the Sheriff's sole discretion.
