Common use of Suspension of Work Clause in Contracts

Suspension of Work. a. Xxxxx's Authorized Procurement Representative may, by written order, suspend all or part of the work to be performed under this Contract for a period not to exceed one hundred (100) days. Within such period of any suspension of work, Buyer shall: (i) cancel the suspension of work order; (ii) terminate this Contract in accordance with the "Termination for Convenience" Article of this Contract; (iii) cancel this Contract in accordance with the "Cancellation for Default" Article of this Contract if grounds for default exist; or (iv) extend the stop work period.

Within such period of any suspension of work, Buyer shall: (i) cancel the suspension of work orderwork; (ii) terminate this Contract in accordance with the "Termination for Convenience" Article of this Contract; (iii) cancel this Contract in accordance with the "“Cancellation for Default" ” Article of this Contract if grounds for default exist; (iii) terminate the contract for convenience or (iv) extend the stop work period.

Within such period the Period of any such suspension of work, Buyer shallXxxxx is entitled to either: (i) cancel the suspension of work order; (ii) terminate this Contract in accordance with the article 6 "Termination for Convenience" Article of this Contract"; (iii) cancel this Contract in accordance with the article 7 "Cancellation for Default" Article of this Contract if grounds for default exist; or (iv) extend the stop work period.
