SUSPENSION OF WORK BY THE OWNER. The work or any portion thereof may be suspended at any time by the owner provided that he gives the contractor five (5) days written notice of suspension, which shall set forth the date on which work is to be resumed. The contractor shall resume the work upon written notice from the owner and within ten days after the date set forth in the notice of suspension. If the owner does not give written notice to resume work within ten days of the date fixed in the notice of suspension, the contractor may abandon that portion of the work so suspended and shall be entitled to payment in accordance with Paragraph 2.6.10.

SUSPENSION OF WORK BY THE OWNER. If the CONTRACTOR fails to correct defective work as required by Section 15.02, persistently fails to carry out the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents through its own acts or omissions, the OWNER may, by written order, order the CONTRACTOR to stop the work or any portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated.
SUSPENSION OF WORK BY THE OWNER. 13.2.1 Notwithstanding any other provisions contained in or made part of this Contract, the Owner may suspend the performance of all or any part of the Work by providing written notice to the Contractor which notice shall contain an estimate of the expected duration of the suspension. The Contractor shall resume the performance of suspended Work when directed to do so by the Owner.

  • Suspension of Work The Department may, at its sole discretion, suspend any or all activities under the Contract, at any time, when it is in the best interest of the State of Florida to do so. The Customer may suspend a resulting contract or purchase order, at any time, when in the best interest of the Customer to do so. The Department or Customer will provide the Contractor written notice outlining the particulars of the suspension. After receiving a suspension notice, the Contractor must comply with the notice and will cease the performance of the Contract or purchase order. The Contractor shall begin correcting the defective or non-conforming Work within ten (10) days unless the State agrees to a Change Order which reflects the reduction in Contract Sum due to the value of diminishment of the defective or nonconforming Work.
