Common use of Suspension for Convenience Clause in Contracts

Suspension for Convenience. District may, without cause, order Contractor in writing to suspend, delay, or interrupt the Work in whole or in part for such period of time as District may determine. District shall adjust Contract Sum and Contract Time for increases in the cost (including profit) and time caused by the suspension, delay, or interruption referenced in Section 16.3.1, so long as the performance would not have been suspended, delayed, or interrupted by another cause for which Contractor is responsible and District has not already made or denied another equitable adjustment under another provision of this Contract for the suspension, delay, or interruption.
