Surface Drainage. Unless otherwise specified, roads shall be constructed and maintained with a 2-5% outslope and without a berm or inside ditch. The road surface shall be insloped or bermed only where needed to direct water to a drainage facility or away from a sensitive area. Where grade is 10% or less, permanent and seasonal roads shall have rolling dips incorporated into their running surface during their construction at locations proposed by the PURCHASER and approved by the Timber Sale Officer. Spacing between rolling dips shall be consistent with the waterbreak spacing requirements of the Forest Practice Rules and the Timber Harvesting Plan. Rolling dips shall be constructed in accordance with the attached diagram, Exhibit A, Attachment 1. Where grade of permanent or seasonal roads is more than 10%, waterbreaks or other suitable forms of water dispersal, shall be installed by bulldozer at locations specified or approved by the Sale Officer upon completion of use of the road for log hauling, but prior to final road grading.
Surface Drainage. EACH LOT SHALL RECEIVE AND DRAIN, IN AN UNOBSTRUCTED MANNER, THE STORM AND SURFACE WATER FROM LOTS AND DRAINAGE AREAS OF HIGHER ELEVATION AND FROM PUBLIC STREETS AND EASEMENTS. NO LOT OWNER SHALL CONSTRUCT OR PERMIT TO BE CONSTRUCTED ANY FENCING OR OTHER OBSTRUCTIONS WHICH WOULD IMPAIR THE DRAINAGE OF STORM AND SURFACE WATERS OVER AND ACROSS HIS LOT. THE FOREGOING COVENANTS SET FORTH IN THIS PARAGRAPH E SHALL BE ENFORCEABLE BY ANY AFFECTED LOT OWNER AND BY THE CITY OF JENKS, OKLAHOMA. NO LOT OWNER SHALL ALLOW OR CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEGRADATION OF GROUND OR SURFACE WATER ON OR ACROSS THE OWNER'S LOT IN VIOLATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS OF THE UNITED STATES, THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA OR THE CITY OF XXXXX.
Surface Drainage. Water from such sources as surface runoff, dewatering and flushing of water lines during project construction shall not be allowed to enter into drainage ways or open areas that will cause flooding of existing structures, street intersections, or lawn areas.
Surface Drainage. Hydro-Québec shall take stock of drainage in the right-of-way and shall install any bridges, culverts, fords or drainage diversions needed to ensure normal, continuous drainage in ditches, trenches or other channels affected by construction. Hydro-Québec shall obtain the landowner’s written permission before using an existing bridge or culvert. Hydro-Québec shall properly maintain any such bridge or culvert used and shall make any necessary repairs. A Hydro-Québec professional shall approve any plans to change surface drainage for the duration of construction. Throughout construction, Hydro-Québec shall ensure that surface drainage systems remain in working order and that ditches are kept free of obstructions. Temporary culverts installed and used by Hydro-Québec shall be at least 3.5 m long, installed 10 cm below the bottom of ditches and covered with at least 30 cm of earth. Moreover, they shall be wide enough to allow water to flow freely. If a bridge deck is installed, it shall cover the banks enough to ensure bank stability and be built to specifications issued by Hydro-Québec. Barring agreement otherwise with the landowner, Hydro-Québec shall remove bridges and culverts, clean ditches and restore banks to their original condition when the construction work is completed. Hydro-Québec shall remove any accumulation of sediment in a ditch or waterway resulting from construction and affecting the normal flow of drainage systems.
Surface Drainage. Surface drainage should be provided for in reclaimed areas. At least 80 per cent of the surface area should be free of surface drainage water in a year of normal precipitation. Drainage should be such as to minimize the formation of ponds less than one acre (0.4 ha) in surface area. Drainage systems must be designed to minimize erosion during spring runoff and major rainfall events.
Surface Drainage. A non-exclusive, perpetual easement for the purpose of surface draining any and all storm water run-off from Lot 3 and the improvements which may, from time to time, be constructed, altered, modified and maintained thereon, over, upon and across Lot 1, and no change of grade elevation or excavation shall be made on Lot 1 which shall interfere with or obstruct the drainage from Lot 3. Surface Drainage. The Contractor will be responsible for surface drainage grading within the building construction lines. The Owner will be responsible for all grading outside the building construction lines and all associated expenses will be for the Owner’s account. All future maintenance of grades within the building construction lines or outside shall be the responsibility of the Owner.
Surface Drainage. Maintaining adequate drainage around the perimeter of the portal to ensure water run off does not enter the underground mine. Coordination and assistance in the maintenance of the triple interceptor on the surface refuelling facility capturing drainage from the refuelling station and the wash down bay.
Surface Drainage. Xxxxxxxx hereby reserves a non-exclusive easement and right for surface drainage over each and every part of the Listerhill Complex, substantially to the same extent as exists on the date of this Agreement. Buyer shall maintain its land within the Listerhill Complex so as to minimize, to the extent reasonably possible, surface drainage interference with the use of Xxxxxxxx’ retained land. The foregoing surface drainage easement shall include, but not be limited to, the right to continue to pump storm water collected from Xxxxxxxx’ former white oil pond area into the Wastewater System.
Surface Drainage. The permit holder shall protect all storm drain inlets with sediment capture devices prior to soil disruption during the project when soil disturbing activities may result in sediment-laden stormwater runoff entering the inlet. The permit holder shall provide effective storm drain inlet protection during the duration of the project until all surfaces with the potential for discharging sediment to an inlet have been stabilized.
