SUPPORT STAFF POSITIONS. Section 4. The Board of Education recognizes the importance of having well-qualified personnel in support staff positions to assure an efficient and effective educational program. All support staff positions in the school system will be established by the Board, and recommendations for employment will be presented to the Board for approval by the superintendent or designee Support staff employees shall be defined as personnel employed in non-certificated positions. All support staff will receive a copy of their job description during the new employee orientation meeting. When a support employee’s job description is changed to reflect a revision in responsibilities, a copy will be provided to the employee. A copy will also be provided whenever requested by an employee. The Board directs the superintendent/designee to maintain up-to-date position descriptions for all support staff. Prior to recommending a new position classification, the superintendent or designee shall develop a complete position description for Board approval.

  • New Positions A. Each newly created position shall be assigned by the Employer to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position within thirty (30) days after its creation. Before such assignment of each new position the Employer shall consult with the Union for the purpose of assigning the new position to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position. The following criteria shall be used in making this determination:

  • Project Staff Contractor shall appoint to the Project Staff: (i) individuals with suitable training and skills to provide the Work, and (ii) sufficient staffing to adequately provide the Work. Contractor shall make commercially reasonable efforts consistent with sound business practices to honor the specific request of the JBE with regard to assignment of its employees. The JBE may require Contractor to remove any personnel from the Project Staff that interact with any personnel of the Judicial Branch Entities or JBE Contractors (including, without limitation, the Contractor Project Manager) upon providing to Contractor a reason (permitted by law) for such removal. Contractor may, with the JBE’s consent, continue to retain such member of the Project Staff in a role that does not interact with any personnel of the Judicial Branch Entities or
