Suppliers and Inventory. The two major items incorporated into the product are the infrared system and the integrated board that includes the computer chip. Xxxxx Co. procures the chip, manufactures the board, and provides the harness for the infrared system according to IMT’s specifications. Xxxxx Co. supplies the infrared scanning device to specifications that allow integration with the board. Both of these companies are located in Michigan and have solid track records. Xx. Xxxxxxx worked with both companies in his previous position and developed a strong working relationship with them. IMT has a contract with both Xxxxx Co. and Xxxxx Co. that guarantees a fixed number of units to be purchased in a given year; however, these companies only ship and xxxx on demand. This allows for minimum cash investment in inventory. Lead-time to assemble the scanners is minimal, and sales orders are secured before assembling the product. IMT receives its plastic casings from a local plastics company, Xxxxx, Inc. All of the major assemblies are shipped to IMT’s facility where they are assembled into the finished unit, packaged, and shipped.
Suppliers and Inventory. Palmtop Innovation's inventory is limited to prepackaged versions of its software, and a small number of PalmPilots that are maintained in ready inventory for use in customer installations requiring immediate response. For most customers, PalmPilots will be ordered from Xxxxxx Micro, an international distributor of the Palm Pilot for 3Com. This practice minimizes inventory-carrying costs while maintaining an acceptable level of responsiveness in the majority of situations.
Suppliers and Inventory. HydroHut's products will be supplied by various vendors, including the following: Aqua Health, Water for Life, H2Ah!, Nutri-Water, Hydration Technologies, Guava Cool, Soft Beverages, and Millennium Moisture. These vendors supply a variety of beverages with features such as nutriceutical content, bacteria-free processing, and a number of natural, organic flavorings, including berries, fruits, and spices. These suppliers are, for the most part, located in the continental United States. While they are not currently available for wholesale distribution in Austin, which partially explains the lack of local retail distribution, all operate existing distribution systems with representatives in other Texas cities, including Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas. No problems in obtaining adequate supplies of important products are anticipated. A projected inventory level of 30 days' worth of inventory on hand at all times.
Suppliers and Inventory. Section 4.07 of the Disclosure Schedules sets forth with respect to the Purchased Assets: (i) each supplier to whom Seller has paid consideration for goods or services rendered in an amount greater than or equal to $10,000 for each of the two most recent completed fiscal years (collectively, the “Material Suppliers”); and (ii) a list of the goods and services purchased from such supplier. Seller has not received any notice, and has no Knowledge, that any of the Material Suppliers has ceased, or intends to cease, to supply goods or services to Seller. All Virexxa inventory (including the location thereof) is set forth in Section 4.07 of the Disclosure Schedules, is free and clear of all Encumbrances, and consists of a quality and quantity usable and testable for the purposes for which such inventory was produced, including but not limited to use in research, development, clinical trials and as otherwise used by Seller in the past.
Suppliers and Inventory. The company uses industry-standard production machinery in all processes. Its materials are obtained from vendors who supply its competitors--no unusual materials are used in their construction. Likewise, the company employs no proprietary processes or technologies in the manufacture of its products. Because of the standardized raw materials used in the manufacturing process, inventory is kept at a minimum. Materials are readily available, and prices of these materials have not varied by more than a few percent in the last 10 years. As a result, Snap-Quick keeps on-hand enough inventory for five days of sales.
