Common use of Supplier Diversity Clause in Contracts

In connection with the performance of this contract, the Contractor agrees to use his or her best effort to carry out this policy and to insure that small and minority businesses shall have the maximum practicable opportunity to compete for subcontract work under this contract consistent with the efficient performance of this contract. Contractors may rely on oral or written representations by subcontractors regarding their status as small and/or minority business enterprises in lieu of independent investigation.
