Supplementary General Conditions. The portion of the Construction Documents dealing with specific requirements of the construction process that are unique to the Project and are drafted by the Design Professional based on specimens provided by the Owner.

Supplementary General Conditions mean procedures and requirements that modify the Uniform General Conditions. Supplementary General Conditions, when used, have precedence over the Uniform General Conditions.

In any instance where no Architect is involved in the project, any and all references contained in this or any other documents to "Architect" shall be deemed to refer to the consulting Engineer, if any, the special project consultant, if any, or, in the event no such individuals are involved, to the Owner. The following supplements modify, delete and/or add to the “General Conditions of the Project.” Where any Article, Paragraph or Subparagraph in the “General Conditions of the Project” is supplemented by one of the following Paragraphs, the provisions of such Article, Paragraph, or Subparagraph shall remain in effect and the supplemental provisions shall be considered as added. Where any Article, Paragraph, or Subparagraph in the “General Conditions of the Project” is amended, voided or superseded by any of the following paragraphs, the remaining provisions of such Article, Paragraph or Subparagraph not amended, voided, or superseded shall remain in effect.
