Common use of Supplemental Contract Clause in Contracts

Supplemental Contract. Teachers who are required by the Employer to work more than one hundred eighty-seven (187) days shall receive a supplemental contract for the additional days. The payment under the supplemental contract shall be based upon the teacher’s hourly rate which is calculated by dividing the teacher’s yearly compensation by one hundred eighty-seven (187), divided by their regularly scheduled hours per day. In the event a teacher is contracted to work less than seven and one quarter (7.25) hours per day, the amount of the per diem for the supplemental contract will be based on their pro-rata basis. Planning time and lunch may also be reduced by the same pro-rata portion.
