Supervision Time a) Supervision time shall be defined as the time teachers are assigned to supervise students outside of the three hundred (300) minute Instructional Day as defined in Article 19.01 c). Unless specifically assigned, teachers shall not be required to perform supervision outside of the Instructional Day as defined in 19.01 c).
Supervision Time. For the purposes of this Article, "supervision time" means scheduled student-contact hours in a laboratory or other related area for the purpose of student direction or demonstration.
Supervision Time. For the purpose of the supervision provisions of the collective agreement, supervision time shall be defined as the time a teacher is assigned to supervise students outside the Instructional School Day as defined in 15.06. Unless specifically assigned, teachers shall not be required to perform supervisory duties outside of the Instructional School Day as defined in 15.06. For greater certainty, supervisory duties include assigned duties such as yard duty, hall duty, bus duty, lunchroom duty and other assigned duties undertaken before the beginning of opening exercises in the morning, before the commencement of classes following the lunch interval, during recesses or after the Instructional School Day.
Supervision Time. (a) Supervision time shall be defined as the time teachers are assigned on the school supervision schedule to supervise students outside of the three hundred (300) minute instructional day as defined in Clause L21.9. For greater certainty, supervisory duties include assigned duties such as yard duty, hall duty, bus duty, lunchroom duty and other assigned duties undertaken before the start of instruction in the morning, during the lunch or nutrition interval(s), during recesses or after the instructional day. Unless specifically assigned on the school supervision schedule, teachers shall not be required to perform supervision duties outside the instructional day as defined in Clause L21.9.
Supervision Time. 22.1 Each teacher shall not be assigned more than an average of thirty (30) minutes of supervision per week, pro-rated for part-time teachers.
Supervision Time a) Effective on the Monday following ratification, the maxima of supervision minutes for elementary Teachers will be 80 minutes within each period of five instructional days. Scheduled supervision duties include, but are not limited to, yard duty, hall duty, bus duty and lunchroom duty.

The instructional day shall be minutes commencing with the start of opening exercises or the start of instruction, whichever comes first, and ending with the students’ dismissal school for the day exclusive of lunch, nutrition breaks and recess i Supervisoryduties include assigned duties such as yard duty, hall duty, bus duty, lunchroom duty and any other scheduled supervisory duties at any of the following times: before the beginning of opening exercises in the morning or the beginning of instruction, whichever comes first during lunch, nutrition or recess breaks after school following the dismissal of students and beyond the minute instructional day. Provided that student safety is protected, and subject to there being no additional cost to the Board or the Government, the Board shall implementthe following provisions respecting supervision schedules: effective September make every reasonable effort to limit the supervision time assigned to teachers to one hundred minutes for each period of five instructional days; effective September limit the supervision time assigned to teachers to one hundred minutes for each period of five instructional days; effective September make every reasonable effort to limit the supervision assigned to teachers to eighty minutes for each period of five instructional days; and No teacher shall be required to perform supervision duties in excess of the amount of supervision duties that the teacher was required to perform as of March unless the teacher’s assignment or is modified or changed. In the event of such modification or change, the teacher’s supervision time shall be equal to the supervision time required of other teachers in the school who equivalent assignments. If there is no such modification or change, each teacher shall continue to be required to perform the same amount of supervision duties as performed as at March so long as the amount of such supervision time is less than the amount of supervision time otherwise provided for in this agreement. Teachers on part-time assignment shall only be required to a prorated amount of supervision time in accordance with their teaching assignment.
Supervision Time. Effective as of the 2004-2005 school year: No Teacher shall be assigned supervision duty more than twenty (20) minutes prior to or following the instructional day for students unless District Board transportation issues necessitate up to an additional ten (10) minutes. Part-time teachers will be allocated assigned yard and supervisory duties on a pro-rated basis.
Supervision Time a) The parties agree that existing practices or provisions respecting supervision time that provided a greater benefit in a school as at March 1, 2005 to the provisions set out below, will be maintained, except to the extent the school needs change due to factors beyond the control of the school.
Supervision Time. Teachers are reminded that supervision time is hard-capped at eighty (80) minutes per cycle of five (5) instructional days, shall be pro-rated to FTE, and cannot be aggregated as per Collective Agreement Article L17.06
