SUPERSENIORITY OF UNION REPRESENTATIVES. The Chairperson of the Chapter and the President of the local shall be entitled, in the event of lay-off, notwithstanding their position on the seniority list, to be employed as long as there is a job in their department under this agreement, which they can perform either on the basis of their past qualifications, having held the position, their experience, training, and physical, educational or technical qualifications. The stewards shall be entitled to continue work if they have the necessary qualifications to perform the work, and if work is available in their department as long as work is being performed in their particular department, or other departments under their jurisdiction where other employees are working. Similarly, in the event they are laid-off, they shall be recalled to work in the event of lay-off on the first open job in the department, which they can perform within their established classification.

SUPERSENIORITY OF UNION REPRESENTATIVES. The Bargaining Committee Chairperson and the Grievance Chairperson shall be entitled, in the event of layoff, notwithstanding their position on the seniority list, to be continued at their work as long as there is a job in their department which they can perform either on the basis of their past qualifications, having held the positions, their experience, training, and physical, educational or technical qualifications. The Chairpersons shall be entitled to continue work if they have the necessary qualifications to perform the work, and if work is available in their department. Such visits shall not interfere with the normal operations of the worksite. Reasonable accommodation will be made to allow the Presidents of the Unions to have access to union members to conduct union business.

  • Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.

  • Review by the World Bank of Procurement Decisions The Procurement Plan shall set forth those contracts which shall be subject to the World Bank’s Prior Review. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank.

  • Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the Xxxxxxx, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.
