Superintendence. The Contractor shall maintain on site, at all times during the construction activities, a dedicated competent Superintendent. This person shall be acceptable to the County and shall have a cell phone at which he or she can be reached at all times. In addition to a General Superintendent and other administrative and supervisory personnel required for the performance of the Work, the Contractor shall provide specific coordinating personnel as reasonably required for interfacing of all the Work required for the total project, all satisfactory to County Project Manager. The superintendent shall not be changed except with consent of County Project Manager, unless the superintendent proves to be unsatisfactory to the Contractor and ceases to be in his employ, in which case he shall be replaced within twenty-four (24) hours by a superintendent acceptable to County Project Manager. The superintendent shall represent the Contractor in his absence and all directions given to him shall be binding as if given to the Contractor. Whenever, in the sole discretion of the County, the Contractor is not providing a sufficient level of supervision, the County may direct the Contractor to increase the level of supervision for any or all projects, including but not limited to the right to direct the Contractor to assign a full time, dedicated Superintendent for any project; submit daily management, inspection, activity, and planning reports; substitute Subcontractors; submit daily photographs of the work in place and the work areas prepared for the next day’s work; and develop a site specific quality control program, all at no cost to the County. In the event the County’s personnel are required to provide direction or supervision of the work in the field because the Contractor has not provided sufficient supervision, the Contractor shall reimburse the County $150 per hour for such effort.

Superintendence. Before starting work the Artist must designate an authorized representative who has complete authority to represent and act for the Artist. The Artist must keep competent supervisory personnel on the work during its progress and provide efficient supervision of the work, using Artist’s best skill and attention. The Artist is solely responsible for all construction means, methods, techniques, and procedures, and for providing adequate safety precautions and coordinating all portions of the work.
Superintendence. The Contractor shall employ a competent Project Superintendent and necessary assistants who shall be in attendance at the Project site during the progress of the Work. It shall be the responsibility of the Project Manager and Superintendent to coordinate the work of all Trade Contractors under contract with the Contractor.
Superintendence. The Contractor shall personally superintend the Work and shall assign to the Project a highly qualified Project Superintendent, experienced and skilled in projects of a similar nature and scope, who shall be at the Project site to act on its behalf at all times during working hours. Prior to the assignment of the proposed Project Superintendent, the Contractor shall submit to the Authority evidence of the qualifications of the proposed candidate for Project Superintendent. Such evidence shall include a list of at least three projects of a similar nature and scope, which the proposed candidate has completed as Project Superintendent. The list of projects shall include complete descriptions and the locations of the listed projects, and the original and final contract prices of each. Also, the Contractor shall submit at least three letters of professional reference regarding the candidate from building ownership, construction consulting, architectural or engineering firms which directly participated during the construction phases on such projects and have first-hand knowledge of the qualifications of the candidate. The letters of reference shall be on the letterheads of such firms, shall be detailed and shall each include the writer's name, title, current address and phone number. The Authority reserves the right to approve or reject each such candidate at its sole discretion. In the event that the Authority rejects such candidate, the Contractor shall promptly submit the qualifications of another candidate for the Authority's consideration. Also, the Authority reserves the right to require removal from the Project site of the Project Superintendent or any other of the Contractor’s personnel at any time. In such events, and as required by the Authority, the Contractor shall submit the qualifications of one or more additional candidate(s) for Project Superintendent, or shall submit appropriate qualifications of any other of the Contractor's personnel, until acceptable to the Authority. The Contractor shall then promptly replace such personnel and hold the Authority harmless from and against all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, costs, liabilities, expenses and judgments recovered from or asserted against the Authority due to actions that may be incident to, arise out of, or be caused by personnel changes.
Superintendence. Contractor shall keep on the site, during the progress of the Work, a competent superintendent and any necessary assistants who shall be satisfactory to the Owner and who shall represent the Contractor on the site. Directions given to the superintendent by the Owner's Authorized Representative shall be confirmed in writing to the Contractor.
Superintendence. Contractor shall assign to and keep at the Project site competent supervisory personnel and, prior to commencement of the Work, shall designate in writing an authorized representative who shall be an employee of the Contractor and who shall have complete authority to represent, to receive notice for, and to act for the Contractor. Contractor shall not permit or allow any work to be conducted upon the Project site without the presence of such supervisory personnel. The City Representative shall be notified in writing prior to any change in superintendent assignment.

The Design-Builder must keep on the Project throughout its duration a competent, experienced and qualified Superintendent and any necessary assistants, all of whom must be satisfactory to the Commission. This Superintendent’s résumé will be submitted to the Commission Representative for approval at the time the Performance and Payment Bond and certificate(s) of insurance are submitted, or sooner if so requested by the Commission. The Superintendent will be present at the Site when Design-Builder’s personnel and/or Subcontractors are present.
Superintendence. 4.2.1 The Construction Manager shall provide supervisory, administrative, management, inspection and related services as required to properly coordinate, schedule and sequence the Work of the Trade Contractors with each other (to avoid both duplication and omission of Work) and with the activities and responsibilities of the Construction Manager, the Owner and the Design Professional to complete the Work in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents with respect to cost, time and quality and to ensure that the other goals and objectives of the entire Work are otherwise met or exceeded.
