Summer Curriculum Work. Thirty dollars ($30.00) per hour will be paid for work during summer periods. Payments are to be made within thirty (30) calendar days after approval of completion of the project. Compensation shall be at the discretion of the administration for any curriculum work not completed and/or turned in on time.

Summer Curriculum Work. 1, Teachers who perform summer curriculum work at the request o f the Superintendent shall be paid at a pro-rated hourly rate of $43. per hour for the 2011-2012,2012-2013, and 2013-2014 school years.
Summer Curriculum Work. By May 1 of each year, the administration will notify the teaching staff of the need for committee members and explain the purpose for the proposed committee. Teachers will have five (5) working days to submit a letter or e-mail of interest to the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Thereafter, the Director of Curriculum and Instruction will choose the members of the committee and notify all applicants of his/her choices in writing. The Board reserves the right to not formulate a committee if, in its discretion, applicants do not possess experience, expertise or numbers to justify formulation. Committee members will receive $175 per full day (7 hours) and $87.50 per half day. Prior to the beginning of a committee assignment, the Director of Curriculum and Instruction will inform the committee of the expected length of time of the assignment. No committee work will continue beyond the specified length of time without the written consent of the Superintendent or designee. Committee work may continue into the school year with no additional remuneration.
Summer Curriculum Work. Teachers participating in summer curriculum work and screening/testing for students aged PreK through grade 8 will be compensated at the rate of pay equivalent to that of a substitute teacher. Pre-K summer screening will initially be offered to current Pre-K staff. If such staff declines to participate in the summer screening, other district employees shall be offered an opportunity to participate in the screenings and be compensated at the rate of a substitute teacher.

Summer Curriculum Work. After consultation with the supervisor regarding the need for summer curriculum development and assignment of personnel to specific curricular tasks, the building principal may require a maximum of thirty (30) hours of departmental curriculum work. Supervisors will not be required to write curriculum in an area in which they do not have expertise. The supervisor is to be notified in writing by June 1 of the same year if summer curriculum development is needed.
