Common use of Summative Evaluation Clause in Contracts

Summative Evaluation. a. All teachers new to the district will receive a summative evaluation during the first year of their contract. All other teachers will receive a summative evaluation if requested by the teacher or by any one of the Principal, Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent or Director. Summative evaluations may be written only by the Superintendent of Schools, Assistant Superintendent or an Administrative Officer. Summative reports which may lead to dismissal according to Article C.28 shall not be written by a Vice-Principal.
