Kikuyu Water Company does not charge Nairobi water; in exchange, bills resulting from the connection should be settled by the water. Residents wanted to know the exact places the trunk sewer will be constructed and also areas that will be given lateral lines for connection to the main trunk sewer EIA team informed the residents that from the preliminary design indicated that the main trunk sewer will run along River Nyongara and join Nairobi trunk near Dagoretti xxxxxxxxx house. The laterals will be constructed in priority areas. They suggested Kikuyu town, Steel lorry area, Kikuyu mission area, Kid farmerco estate and Magoko area.
