Substitute Pay for Unit Members. When a Unit member performs substitute duties, the hourly rate for that specific service will be calculated based on the annual salary of the Unit member at the time of the service such that payment for service is the same as regular duty assignment. A full-time unit member who does not have a full teaching load may be directed to do substitute service during their workday. They will not receive additional compensation. A part-time Unit Member who volunteers to substitute will be compensated based on their regular pay schedule.
