Subpoena a. The umpire shall have authority to subpoena witnesses pursuant to Section 2711.06 of the Ohio Revised Code. Upon receiving a request to issue a subpoena(s), the umpire shall contact the other party and hear and consider objections to the issuance of said subpoena(s). The umpire shall not subpoena persons to offer repetitive testimony.

Should the employee not return to work, leave of absence with pay will not be granted for performance of civil duty. Every effort will be made to avoid the presentation of repetitive witnesses. The Union is responsible for paying any travel or per diem expenses for its subpoenaed witnesses, the grievant and the Union representative.
Subpoena. If INTERTEK is served with a Subpoena, Court Order, or similar document requesting the disclosure of confidential or proprietary information supplied to INTERTEK by the Client, INTERTEK shall promptly notify the Client. In the event that the Client chooses to contest the request, INTERTEK shall cooperate with the Client. The responsibility for contesting the request shall rest solely with the Client. If the Client declines to contest the request or is not successful in contesting the request, INTERTEK will provide the requested information. Any costs incurred by INTERTEK in responding to the request, including reasonable attorney's fees, shall be reimbursed by the Client immediately upon invoicing by INTERTEK.

Subpoena. An employee who is subpoenaed to appear in court in a matter regarding an event or transaction which he or she perceived or investigated in the course of his or her District job duties will appear without loss of compensation. The time spent in response to a subpoena will be considered work time. Any payment except travel pay, meals, and lodging received by the employee for such service shall be remitted to the District through the Fire Administration.
Subpoena. In the event that you receive a request or are required (by deposition, interrogatory, request for documents, subpoena, civil investigative demand or similar process) to disclose all or any part of the Confidential Information you agree to (a) promptly notify the Company in writing of the existence, terms and circumstances surrounding such request or requirement, (b) consult with the Company on the advisability of taking legally available steps to resist or narrow such request or requirement, and (c) assist the Company in seeking a protective order or other appropriate remedy. In the event that such protective order or other remedy is not obtained or that the Company waives compliance with the provisions hereof, you shall not be liable for such disclosure unless disclosure to any such tribunal was caused by or resulted from a previous disclosure by you not permitted by this Employment Agreement.
Subpoena. An employee answering a subpoena as a company witness or as a witness to an issue that happened while on the clock shall be kept whole in relation to lost work and expenditures. This does not apply to employees who are involved in litigation against UPS or involving the grievance process. The Employee is to supply the Employer the subpoena requiring his/her presence away from work. When the employee is excused, either temporarily or permanently, on a scheduled workday, the employee shall report for work as soon as reasonably possible, and complete any remaining hours of their scheduled workday.
