Common use of Subject to Law Clause in Contracts

Subject to Law. (a) All rights, powers and remedies provided herein may be exercised only to the extent that the exercise thereof, including those which do not require the giving of notice, does not violate any applicable law, and are intended to be limited to the extent necessary so that they will not render this Lease invalid or unenforceable under any applicable law. All waivers, consents, confessions and releases provided for in this Lease are effective only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
