SUBCONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES. The Subcontractor shall furnish all of the materials and perform all the Work described in the specifications and shown on the drawings for the project entitled: title of project shown on documents prepared by Architect - Engineer firm name, for the specification sections here described: list all sections- for this subcontract only- by number and name. Not used. The Subcontractor shall comply with all laws, codes and regulations applicable to the Work. Not used. The Subcontractor shall remain an independent agent for the duration of this subcontract, shall not become an employee of the State of Maine, and shall assure that no State employee will be compensated by, or otherwise benefit from, this subcontract.

SUBCONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES. 3.1 OBLIGATIONS The Contractor and Subcontractor are hereby mutually bound by the terms of this Subcontract. To the extent the terms of the prime contract between the Owner and Contractor apply to the work of the Subcontractor, then the Contractor hereby assumes toward the Subcontractor all the obligations, rights, duties, and redress that the Owner under the prime contract assumes toward the Contractor. In an identical way, the Subcontractor hereby assumes toward the Contractor all the same obligations, rights, duties, and redress that the Contractor assumes toward the Owner and Architect under the prime contract. In the event of an inconsistency among the documents, the specific terms of this Agreement shall govern.
SUBCONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES. 4.1 Responsibilities The Subcontractor shall furnish its best skill and judgment in the performance of the Subcontract Work and shall perform its work to the satisfaction of the Contractor, the Owner and the Architect/Engineer, so the Contractor may fulfill its obligations to the Owner. The Subcontractor shall furnish all of the labour, materials, equipment, and services, including but not limited to, competent supervision, shop drawings, samples, tools, and scaffolding as are necessary for the proper performance of the Subcontract Work. The Subcontractor shall be responsible for taking field dimensions, providing tests, obtaining required permits, ordering of materials and all other actions as required to meet the Schedule of Work.
SUBCONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES. A. Subcontractor shall be responsible for reviewing the site and being familiar with all existing site conditions affecting the services required under the specifications contained herein.

SUBCONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES. 4.1 Subcontractor acknowledges that it will be performing the Work as an independent contractor and is responsible for including any required sales taxes in the Subcontract Sum and remitting same to the collecting authority. Subcontractor is solely responsible for the acts and omissions of its employees and sub-subcontractors, for directing their work, and for the payment of all their wages, taxes, and sub-subcontract amounts.
SUBCONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES. Subcontractor shall adequately furnish and secure all labor, supervision, materials, taxes, services, equipment, tools, material storage, permits, licenses and inspections, insurance, shop drawings, submittals, and safety equipment and measures necessary to provide complete, fully functional and finished Work as required by the Contract Documents. Subcontractor shall comply with all requirements of the Prime Contract and/or Owner Contract that relate to Subcontractor’s Work. Subcontractor shall comply with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, rules and regulations relating to the performance of Subcontractor’s Work, including but not limited to immigration, environmental, tax, social security, unemployment, insurance, safety and workers’ compensation requirements. Subcontractor shall protect the work of others and property at or adjacent to the Project from damage caused by Subcontractor’s operation and shall be responsible to immediately correct and repair any damage, at its cost, should any occur. The Subcontractor is responsible for the security of its tools, equipment, and materials at the work site. Subcontractor shall not assign the Work of this Subcontract or subcontract all or portions of this Subcontract without Contractor’s written consent. Subcontractor shall keep full and detailed records and accounts related to the cost of the Work and exercise such controls as may be necessary for proper financial management under this Contract and to substantiate all costs incurred. Contractor shall, during regular business hours and upon reasonable notice, be afforded access to, and shall be permitted to audit and copy, Subcontractor’s records and accounts relating to this Subcontract. Subcontractor shall preserve these records for at least three years after final payment.
SUBCONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES. Execution of the Work: Unless otherwise provided in Attachment B, Subcontractor shall furnish all permits (other than the general building permit), licenses, royalties, franchise fees, patent fees or fees of every kind; all temporary structures, scaffolds, lights, power, utilities, hoists, equipment, fuel, expendable supplies, shelters, building protection or fire protection; and other facilities of every type and description required for the safe, proper, efficient, and expeditious execution of Subcontractor’s portion of the work. Subcontractor shall obtain Xxxxxxx’x approval prior to locating any temporary structures on site. Subcontractor agrees that they are fully informed regarding all conditions affecting the work, material, equipment, apparatus and labor to be furnished for completion of this Subcontract; and also agrees and certifies that its information was obtained by personal investigation and research and not from any estimates or representations of any officer, agent or employee of Tarlton (whether written or oral). Subcontractor shall independently determine and verify all field measurements, field construction criteria, etc., as required to accomplish, erect and complete the work requirements. If the schedule does not allow for the verification of field dimensions, Subcontractor shall clearly delineate which dimensions are critical for proper installation of the fabricated items on the shop drawing submitted for review and the corresponding submittal transmittal. Subcontractor shall prepare shop drawings, samples and all “submittals” for review and/or approval as required by and in accordance with the Contract Documents. Receipt of submittals marked “approved” or “reviewed” does not relieve Subcontractor of their obligation to comply with the Contract Documents. Any deviations from the Contract Documents shall be clearly noted on the submittal and referred to in the submittal transmittal. Subcontractor shall cooperate with Tarlton (and other subcontractors whose work might depend on or interfere with Subcontractor’s work) and prepare or participate in the preparation of coordination drawings or models in areas of congestion as required by the Contract Documents, Attachment B or as necessary for the timely and safe execution of the work.
