Students Only. Provide funding to student beginning in second year of the program, unless funding is obtained from other sources. The mentor for a CTS Ph.D. student is expected to provide funding (via employment, fellowship or other means) to offset the cost of the student’s tuition and mandatory fees, unless the student has secured sufficient funding from another source. The mentor is also responsible for supplies and resources the student needs to conduct the dissertation research. The specific terms of funding provided by the mentor are determined by the mentor’s department or office.   • Students Payments which a student or business apprentice who is or was immediately before visiting a Contracting State a resident of the other Contracting State and who is present in the first-mentioned State solely for the purpose of his education or training receives for the purpose of his maintenance, education or training shall not be taxed in that State, provided that such payments arise from sources outside that State.

  • Summer Students a) Summer Students shall not be employed while Employees on Seniority List A or B are on lay off in their respective trades.

  • STUDENT For the purpose of this Collective Agreement, the term Student shall mean a person who, except for summer vacation period or work study period, would normally be attending full time at High School, Vocational School, or University and taking subjects relating to the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade. The intention of this clause is to enable the Employer to give practical experience during summer months to a person whose declared intention is to seek employment in the Trade upon graduation from school, and is not intended as a source of casual labour.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • HOME EDUCATION 1. Educational services that may be required for home education students as defined in School Act, Part II, Div. 4, Sec. 12 & 13 and School Act Regulations, Sec. (3), shall be provided by bargaining unit members.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.

  • Outreach and Education The agencies agree to coordinate, conduct joint outreach presentations, and prepare and distribute publications, when appropriate, for the regulated community of common concern. • The agencies agree to work with each other to provide a side-by-side comparison of laws with overlapping provisions and jurisdiction. • The agencies agree to provide a hyperlink on each agency’s website linking users directly to the outreach materials in areas of mutual jurisdiction and concern. • The agencies agree to jointly disseminate outreach materials to the regulated community, when appropriate. • All materials bearing the DOL or DOL/WHD name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by DOL. • All materials bearing the OEAS name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by OEAS.

  • Department of Education The School shall administer all student testing as required by applicable federal and state laws, rules, policies, and procedures.

  • Adult Education Teachers of Adult Education shall be paid at the rate of thirty-five ($35.00) an hour. Break time will not be deducted from teachers’ pay.

  • Distance Education Distance education means instruction in which the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technologies. All distance education courses and sections will be designated as such in the District schedule of classes. Distance education courses include hybrid (see glossary) instruction and fully online instruction.
