Student Services. 1. Students taking college classes for dual credit may utilize the same services that are available to other MCC students. MCC is responsible for ensuring timely and efficient access to such services as academic advising, learning materials (e.g., library resources), and other services for which the student may be eligible. Student Services. The College will provide New Student Orientation sessions to all high school students. These sessions will include information regarding academic policies, support services, cost, and student opportunities and commitments. First time in college dual credit students will: • apply to the College using the Brazosport College common application (ApplyTexas) • turn in a completed Dual Credit Agreement Form with appropriate signatures • submit a high school transcript • take any required placement tests • secure a meningitis vaccine and submit all required documentation • complete New Student Orientation Each semester the College will provide a placement testing session for each high school in the District. Students requiring testing services above and beyond these sessions will be required to test at the Brazosport College Testing Center. Students will be registered directly through the College at regularly scheduled registrations, via the Internet or at special registration sessions. Students needing accommodation in their dual credit courses must self-report their need to Brazosport College’s Office of Disabilities. Any accommodations made shall not fundamentally alter the course content established by the College and are provided in accordance with Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. These acts guide Brazosport College in making reasonable accommodations in their policies, practices, services and facilities to ensure equal opportunity for qualified persons with disabilities to participate in all educational programs and activities. Dual credit course instructors are required to implement BC approved accommodations as a part of the student’s dual credit instruction with the written accommodation plan provided by Brazosport College’s Office of Disabilities.
Student Services. Assessment tasks MUST NOT be submitted to Student Services or to the Main Office. Submission instructions are clearly identified on the Assessment Task Notification Sheet. Tasks must be submitted directly to the subject teacher or the relevant Leader of Learning.

The tutoring programme guarantees the mentoring of the student. Disabled students will get an extra tutor for the whole time of studying.

Student Services. The parties acknowledge and agree that Students participating in the Clinical Program will have the status of learners, and Student services will not be utilized in lieu of those of professional or nonprofessional staff. As a part of the Clinical Program Students may provide patient care related services, and any such service rendered by Students is incidental to the educational purpose of the Clinical Program.

Student Services. Support Structure Review. Certified staff may initiate requests for review of the appropriateness of existing student services support structures to the immediate supervising administrator. In addition, special education staff may initiate a request for review of their workload based on the District’s Workload Plan for Special Education Educators. Neither review process is intended to provide for evaluation of supported education teachers by staff not normally involved in such evaluation. The Assistant Superintendent for Student Services shall report quarterly to TACT on the implementation of these review processes.
Student Services. If students have documented disabilities that may affect their academic experience and are seeking accommodations, it is their responsibility to supply documentation and make a request for services through the office of Student Academic Services as soon as possible. This includes, but is not limited to: • Processing of FAFSA and other applications, determination of eligibility, awarding, and disbursement of funds; • Assessment and enforcement of satisfactory academic progress standards; • Calculation and distribution of refunds; During the student’s enrollment at DCB, DCB policies and procedures will apply. Student budgets (Cost of Attendance) used in establishing aid amounts will be the same as those used for awarding federal aid to other DCB students. A contact from the DCB Financial Aid Office will be identified to work with the Valley City State University Financial Aid Office assigned contact. Valley City State University will be responsible for awarding aid to students who have been admitted to Valley City State University. Students will have all aspects of their Federal Title IV Financial Assistance administered by Valley City State University Student Financial Aid Office. This includes, but is not limited to: • Processing of applications, evaluation of eligibility, awarding, and disbursement of funds; • Assessment and enforcement of satisfactory academic progress standards; • Calculation and distribution of refunds; • Notifying changes in enrollment status to lenders under the Federal Family Educational Loan Programs. During this enrollment the Valley City State University policies and procedures will apply. Student budgets (costs) used in establishing aid amounts will be the same as those used for awarding federal aid to other Valley City State University students. Students on the DCB campus are not eligible for Valley City State University sponsored scholarships, waivers, or federal student work-study while pursuing a degree from Valley City State University. Students enrolled in the Valley City State University program are not eligible for DCB sponsored scholarships or waivers. Student Services. GAA students will be treated on an equal basis with native students with regard to award and distribution of financial aid and other scholarships, campus housing, parking, selection of courses and other student services. Continuing transfer students will also be treated identically to continuing native RU students in the competition for merit scholarships funded through the Xxxxxxx University Foundation, Inc. In addition, RU will permit GAA applicants to be admitted to RU’s cultural, athletic, and entertainment activities at a cost equal to native RU students. (Students must contact the Admissions Office in advance of the events to make arrangements.)
