Student Role. The student is expected to successfully complete all assignments in the online program within the time period designated. • The student is expected to be on campus to take all online tests, with their xxxxxxx serving in a supervisory role. • The student is expected to be in attendance of all elective classes on campus. • The student and their parents are expected to make an official appeal at least 4 to 5 days prior to deadline finish date of an online class in the event the student has had a serious illness or family emergency that prevents them from finishing the online class on the required finish date.

Student Role. We want our school to be a place that is safe and friendly, where we can learn, play and explore. To do this we need everyone to choose safe, careful, and fair ways of using devices and online spaces. As a digital citizen this means you will: • Keep it kind. When you are online, think about others and talk or share in a kind way.
Student Role. While we encourage you to take the opportunity to speak to patients in many contexts, there are some limits to your role in these circumstances. At all times we expect you to be respectful to the patients. For example, you are not there to make judgements about the lifestyle of others. Neither are you to act in an advisory manner (even if you have some health professional training). We do not wish you to enter into discussions with patients about the appropriateness or otherwise of the treatment they are receiving. Nor are you to act as a patient advocate. If any concerns ever arise about the treatment which a patient is receiving, there will be appropriate channels for dealing with this. In the first instance you should discuss the matter with your preceptor. If not satisfied you may wish to take this matter to the placement co-ordinator. This matter is not to be discussed outside of these channels. Student Role. The parties agree that students are fulfilling specific requirements for clinical experiences as part of a degree requirement and, therefore, regardless of the nature or extent of the acts performed by them, the students are not to be considered employees or agents of either the University or the Facility for any purpose, including Workers’ Compensation or employee benefit programs. Students shall not be entitled to any monetary remuneration for services performed by them in the course of their training under this Agreement.

Only ever use your Maraetai Beach School login at school. ● Understand that inappropriate Google searches will result in a Red Flag alert being sent to the Principal. ● Seek help. Sometimes you or someone you know will feel unsafe or come across bad or hurtful content online. If this happens, talk to a trusted adult about what can be done. STUDENT STATEMENT I know about the ways I should use digital devices and online spaces at school for learning. I know that I should be kind,careful and responsible when I use devices, and when I go online, and this is the same for the devices that school lets me borrow, or if it is my own device that I bring to school. I know that if I behave in ways that are not safe, kind or responsible online, that this is not okay at Maraetai Beach School. There may be some actions that my school might have to take, such as not being able to use the school device or a device I have brought from home and my parents will be notified. I understand and agree to use digital technology and the internet at school safely and for learning, whether it is on a school device or one I have brought from home.

  • STUDENT DATA Contractor acknowledges that student data is protected by both federal and state law. See Wis. Stat. § 118.125; 20 U.S.C. § 1232g(b); 34 C.F.R. § 99.1

  • Student Records The School shall maintain student records for current and former students in accordance with the requirements of State and federal law, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, 20 U.S.C. § 1232g, as may be amended from time to time.

  • Student Status Licensee must maintain status as a student registered at Cal Poly with a minimum of eight (8) Cal Poly quarter units or if a graduate student, four (4) units. Exception requests must be submitted in writing to University Housing for approval (or contact the Disability Resource Center if disability related) if Licensee falls below these minimums. Dropping below the minimum is not considered a standard for cancellation and will not release the Licensee from paying any housing-related fees. The University may, at its sole option and discretion, revoke this License in accordance with the provisions herein if the Licensee fails to enroll in the minimum units, or drops below the minimum unit requirement after the beginning of the academic fee period.

  • STUDENT For the purpose of this Collective Agreement, the term Student shall mean a person who, except for summer vacation period or work study period, would normally be attending full time at High School, Vocational School, or University and taking subjects relating to the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade. The intention of this clause is to enable the Employer to give practical experience during summer months to a person whose declared intention is to seek employment in the Trade upon graduation from school, and is not intended as a source of casual labour.

  • STUDENT SAFETY The Parties agree that when a Student attending a College facility expresses to any College employee a suicidal intention or a threat of physical harm to others, a protocol to be agreed prior to the effective date of this MOU will be executed. The protocol will prioritize ensuring that the Student does not pose a threat to self or others. The College will prioritize transitioning management of the issue to School District, the parent / guardian of the student or the most appropriate authority or entity to address the crisis at hand. Often the College Police Department will assess the situation and coordinate that transition with its School District counterpart. School District designates College as its agent under any applicable statutory authority or parent / guardian consent to treatment for the limited purpose of this crisis-response intervention. When on the College campus, Students will follow the policies and procedures of the College to ensure the safety and well-being of the fellow classmates, faculty, staff and visitors. The Colleges will develop standard protocols for various emergency situations. To ensure safety precautions, the College enrolls all students, faculty and staff, including Students in Dual Credit programs, into emergency alert messages. These messages are sent to all groups mentioned via the College email, robocalls and text messages to the telephones listed in the system of record. Alamo Colleges District is subject to legislation requiring it to allow licensees to carry concealed handguns on its campuses effective August 1, 2017, and Students will potentially encounter license holders availing themselves of this privilege. Any notice of these facts to parents of Students will be the responsibility of the School District. Students traveling for College events will be required to sign an Alamo Colleges District General Participation Release as a condition of participation as is required of all students from each of the Colleges of the Alamo Colleges District.

  • Student Medication 1. Except in emergency situations, teachers will only be required to administer medication to students (including supervision of self-administration) after the following conditions have been met:

  • Critical Infrastructure Subcontracts For purposes of this Paragraph, the designated countries are China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and any countries lawfully designated by the Governor as a threat to critical infrastructure. Pursuant to Section 113.002 of the Business and Commerce Code, Contractor shall not enter into a subcontract that will provide direct or remote access to or control of critical infrastructure, as defined by Section 113.001 of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, in this state, other than access specifically allowed for product warranty and support purposes to any subcontractor unless (i) neither the subcontractor nor its parent company, nor any affiliate of the subcontractor or its parent company, is majority owned or controlled by citizens or governmental entities of a designated country; and (ii) neither the subcontractor nor its parent company, nor any affiliate of the subcontractor or its parent company, is headquartered in a designated country. Contractor will notify the System Agency before entering into any subcontract that will provide direct or remote access to or control of critical infrastructure, as defined by Section 113.001 of the Texas Business & Commerce Code, in this state.

  • Student Teachers 8.05.01.A No teacher will be required to accept the responsibility of supervising student teachers; it is believed that professionally interested teachers will volunteer to do so from time to time.

  • Student Employees A student employee is an employee who is hired for short-term work which is not ongoing. He/she is normally in the process of completing his/her post-graduate studies and is expected to return to his/her studies after an agreed employment period. The employee's benefits and working conditions are as per Article 34 (Temporary Employees).
