Student Life. All students are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities. When selecting activities, students are advised to consider the time involved in after- school meetings and practices. Conflicts do arise when several activities are scheduled at the same time. Elected club officers and publication editors must consider themselves essential to every club meeting and event. This necessarily limits their membership in other clubs. Membership on sports teams and in extra-curricular/co-curricular activities is open to all interested and qualified students. The school community is committed to providing every student an equal opportunity to apply for membership. After a careful review of the applicants, the decision of the coach/moderator regarding membership is final. The principal will not intervene in non-selection decisions unless a decision is deemed arbitrary. The Activities Program at Little Flower consists of three groups: • Activities held after school include: the Garland, the Literary Garland, the Theresian, Student Government, Orchestra, Concert Choir, Flowerettes, Stage Crew, National Xxxxx Xxxxxxx, Community Service Corps, Little Flower Ambassadors, Mathletes and School Musical. • Clubs whose meetings are held within the school day during the T-1, T-2 Activities Schedule The Little Flower Activities Booklet will be distributed to all freshmen in their homerooms.. Copies will also be available in upperclassman homerooms and on-line. • Athletics

This includes increased social opportunities to help develop a better sense of belonging to the University and fostering community spirit. Action: The Students’ Union Campus Life Forum will consider student feedback to identify potential solutions and implement appropriate changes. Student Mental Health remains a growing concern within Higher Education. The Student Mental Health and Wellbeing Steering Group oversee the implementation of the University Student Mental Health and Wellbeing policy and action plan. Members of the group come from the SU, the University, National Union of Students (NUS) and NHS Lothian. Action: Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid Training will be offered to students thanks to funding secured from the Lottery Young Start Fund. The University also continues to deliver training to staff. 1 Student responses to feedback surveys including the NSS; the Annual SU survey; recommendations from ELIR; discussions at the Students’ Union representation groups; External Examiners’ reports and priorities identified by institutional committees.

  • Dependent Life Insurance In the event of the death of your spouse or dependent child from any cause whatsoever, while you and your dependents are insured under the plan, the insurance company will pay you $10,000 in respect of your spouse and $5,000 in respect of each insured dependent child. This applies to those employees with family health coverage only.

  • STUDENT For the purpose of this Collective Agreement, the term Student shall mean a person who, except for summer vacation period or work study period, would normally be attending full time at High School, Vocational School, or University and taking subjects relating to the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade. The intention of this clause is to enable the Employer to give practical experience during summer months to a person whose declared intention is to seek employment in the Trade upon graduation from school, and is not intended as a source of casual labour.

  • Group Life Insurance The Hospital shall contribute one hundred percent (100%) toward the monthly premium of HOOGLIP or other equivalent group life insurance plan in effect for eligible full-time employees in the active employ of the Hospital on the eligibility conditions set out in the existing Agreements.

  • Group Life (a) The Employer shall provide a mutually acceptable Group Life Plan with benefits equivalent to twice an Employee's annual salary, (for Employees aged under 45, three (3) times the Employee's annual salary) with a sixty thousand ($60,000) dollar minimum. The Employer shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the premium on the sixty thousand dollar ($60,000) base and the Employee shall pay the premium for any insurance over sixty thousand dollars ($60,000).

  • Per-pupil Funding The School's non-facility general fund per-pupil funding shall be as defined in Sec. 302D-28, HRS. The Commission shall distribute the School's per-pupil allocation each fiscal year pursuant to Sec. 302D-28(f), HRS, and shall provide the School with the calculations used to determine the per-pupil amount each year. All funds distributed to the School from the Commission shall be used solely for the School's educational purposes as appropriated by the Legislature, and the School shall have discretion to determine how such funding shall be allocated at the school level to serve those purposes subject to applicable laws and this Contract.

  • Group Life Insurance Plan Section 1 - Eligibility Regular full-time and regular part-time employees who are on staff January 1, 1979 or who join the staff following this date shall, upon completion of the three-month probationary period, become members of the Group Life Insurance Plan as a condition of employment.

  • Retiree Life Insurance Employees who retire under the Monroe County Employees' Retirement System shall be eligible for $4,000.00 term life insurance. All employees hired by the Employer on or after October 1, 2007 shall not be eligible for Retiree Life Insurance.

  • MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR EDUCATION 1. Prior to the submission of a new application for any new mortgage loan originator license or, as applicable, the filing of a petition for the reinstatement of an MLO Activity Endorsement in any Participating State as provided for in Section II, Paragraph 2 of this Order, the Respondent will be required to complete the following mortgage loan originator education requirements:

  • Accelerated Life The additional employee, spouse and child life insurance policies will include an accelerated benefits agreement providing for payment of benefits prior to death if the insured has a terminal condition.

  • Special Education Teachers Whenever any Elementary Special Education class to which a student(s) is(are) added as a result of the distribution of students from the class of an absent Elementary Special Education teacher, Article 8-7 shall be in effect. In addition, whenever the class size of the receiving Special Education teacher exceeds the class size maxim mandated by Special Education class size law and/or regulation, the Xxxxxxxx Formula in AAA Case No. 1139-0696- 85, February 21, 1986, shall be used to calculate the compensation which said teacher shall receive as follows: The rate of pay for said teacher for teaching said additional students shall be computed by multiplying the teacher’s daily gross compensation by a fraction in which the denominator is twenty-six (26) and the numerator is the number of children taught in excess of Article 8-1.1 Item 3 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the parties.
