Student Discipline Committee. A. The Board shall make every effort to provide system-wide training on classroom management and a positive school climate.
Student Discipline Committee. The Board and the Union agree that student discipline and a safe and secure environment for students and PSRPs is paramount. To this end, the Union shall appoint three (3) individuals from the PSRP bargaining unit to add to the Student Discipline Committee under the BTU Teacher Agreement with the Board.
Student Discipline Committee. At least one representative from the teachers’ association from each building shall be a member of the school’s student discipline committee that meets a minimum of once per year for the purpose of improving and defining school discipline and/or consequences policies as required in 105 ILCS 5/10-20.14.
Student Discipline Committee. It is the shared interest and goal for the Association and the District to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students, to support staff members and to promote smooth implementation of the new rules in Issaquah Schools.
Student Discipline Committee. In the event that a Committee is formed to review the Student Behavior Code representatives of the Association will be invited to participate in the process.
Student Discipline Committee. This committee will consist of 6 members, up to 3 appointed by the district and up to 3 appointed by the Union. The Committee will meet in September and January or as mutually agreed to by both parties to discuss problems and to further develop procedures to ensure the safety of students, school bus drivers and route assistants. The Human Resources Office will have the appropriate personnel involved when needed.
Student Discipline Committee. The Board and Union agree that disruptive student behavior is detrimental to the classroom learning environment. In an effort to improve responses to such behavior on all levels, the parties agree to form a Joint Committee on Student Discipline, with equal numbers of members representing the Board and the Union. Each party shall appoint its respective members with at least two (2) members representing each. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the committee shall meet at least once per month from September through May each school year. The purposes of the committee shall be to implement effective, consistent, district-wide responses to disruptive student behavior, to consider and protect the rights of all students to a quality education, and to improve communication and coordination between teachers and administration regarding student discipline.
Student Discipline Committee. 45.1 The parties shall form a Student Discipline Committee (SDC) consisting of three (3) representatives designated by the Association and three (3) representatives designated by the Superintendent. The SDC shall meet at least once per term and more frequently as the members of the SDC may mutually agree.
