Student Assault. 1. A student assaulting an employee who is performing a duty in the line of employment, including volunteer time during authorized student activities, shall be immediately suspended and a recommendation for expulsion are made to the Superintendent as provided for in Board policy 5113.2 by the building/unit administrator. The employee and the Federation shall be notified of the date, time, and place of the student’s expulsion hearing and shall have the right to be present at the hearing.
