Structure and Functions. 5.7.1 There shall be a LNUK for each Nunavik Inuit community to carry out powers and functions set forth in section 5.7.2. Membership in each LNUK shall be open to all Nunavik Inuit residents in a community. Each LNUK may, by by-law, provide for classes of non-voting membership and privileges that flow therefrom. Existing community organizations may, subject to their adaptation to the provisions of this section, act as LNUKs. Two (2) or more LNUKs may join together for the purpose of discharging their functions over any or all species of wildlife on a joint basis.
