Structural Observation. The engineer or architect of record shall provide structural observation per Section 1704.6 of the California Building Code, when required by the Building Official or engineer or architect of record. This requirement and frequency of observation shall be put forth in the Statement of Structural Observation (SSO) prepared by the design professional or as determined by the Building Official prior to permit issuance. In accordance with the Section 110 and the structural observation requirements of Section 1704.6 of the California Building Code, the Building Official may require that the architect or engineer of record attend a preconstruction meeting prior to the commencement of work. When structural observation is required by the Building Official, the engineer or architect of record shall periodically perform visual observation on the project, as outlined in the SSO, for general conformance to the approved construction documents. The minimum observations are: at foundation stage, at shearwalls /diaphragms stage, and at final framing stage. Additional observations may be required as the result of deficiencies or corrective actions or special circumstances as agreed upon in the pre- permit stage of the project. Any observed deficiencies or changes to the approved plans must be brought to the attention of the Building Official as soon as possible, and no more than three (3) working days or before subsequent inspections. This observation is in addition to other required special inspections and is not intended as a substitution of other required inspections. At the conclusion of work included in the permit, the structural observer shall submit to the building official a written statement that the site visits have been made and identify any reported deficiencies that, to the best of the structural observer’s knowledge, have not been resolved.

Structural Observation. In addition or in lieu of other special inspection requirements, engineer or architect shall provide structural observation per the adopted Building Code, when required by the Building Official. This requirement and frequency shall be determined by the Building Official. Special inspection and testing shall meet the minimum requirements of the California Building Code. The following conditions are also applicable.
Structural Observation. 1. Kleinfelder will provide structural observation during construction. This task includes 5 site visits.
Structural Observation. Visual observation by a Structural Observer of the structural system for general conformance to the Contract Documents at significant construction stages and at completion of the structural system. Structural observation does not include, waive, or otherwise affect the CONTRACTOR's responsibility for inspections required by the Contract Documents.

  • Construction Observation The Consultant shall make periodic on-site observations of the Project in accordance with Exhibit A. The purpose of the on-site observations will be to observe the progress and quality of the construction work being carried on to determine if the work is proceeding in accordance with the Construction Documents. Unless otherwise stated in Exhibit A, the Consultant shall not be required to make exhaustive or continuous on-site observations to check the quality or quantity of the work.

  • Formal Observations 1. A minimum of two (2) formal observations shall be conducted to support the final summative evaluation. All formal observations shall last a minimum of thirty (30) consecutive minutes and will take place between September 15 and April 30. There will be a minimum of fifteen (15) work days between the first two (2) formal observations.

  • Formal Observation The instructional employee and the principal/administrator shall review using the mid-year Reflection Questions in the evaluation manual – Student Achievement Outcomes and make adjustments as needed to increase the likelihood of a positive goal outcome.

  • Unannounced Observations i) Unannounced observations may be in the form of partial or full-period classroom visitations of not less than ten minutes duration.

  • Informal Observation Additional evaluation of employees may occur through informal observations by the Employer. If a written evaluation is deemed necessary, Procedures C and D as outlined above shall be followed.

  • Observations The Evaluator’s first observation of the Educator should take place by November 15. Observations required by the Educator Plan should be completed by May 15th. The Evaluator may conduct additional observations after this date. The Evaluator is not required nor expected to review all the indicators in a rubric during an observation.

  • Classroom Observation Classroom observations shall be conducted at least once for all unit members who have not met the threshold for reappointment as defined in Section 10.02 of Article10. Effective fall 2006 classroom observations shall be conducted on DCE form E3. Classroom observations may be conducted for any unit member, at the discretion of the President of the College, or designee thereof, for stated written reasons. Results of said observation shall be communicated to the unit member in writing. The unit member shall be afforded the opportunity to discuss the classroom observation with the evaluator and to respond in writing.

  • General Overview This is an SLA between the Customer and UNM IT to document the provision of:  The Department Web Hosting service;  The general levels of response, availability, and maintenance associated with these services;  The responsibilities of UNM IT as a provider of these services;  The responsibilities of the Customers and Web Admins and Developers (Users) receiving these service;  The financial arrangements associated with the service. This SLA shall be effective as of the Effective Date set forth on the cover page and will continue until revised or terminated.

  • Right to Observe Testing Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each notify the other Party, and the NYISO, in advance of its performance of tests of its Attachment Facilities. The other Party, and the NYISO, shall each have the right, at its own expense, to observe such testing.
