STRIKES AND STOPPAGES. 5.01 Inasmuch as this Agreement provides orderly procedures for the settlement of employee grievances and for the handling of other matters, the parties hereto agree that there shall be no strikes or lockouts during the life of this Agreement. The words "strikes" and "lockouts" as used herein are agreed to have the meanings defined for these words in the present Ontario Labour Relations Act.
STRIKES AND STOPPAGES. During the life of this Agreement, the Union will not cause its members to strike, nor will any member of the Union or other employees represented by the Union take part in any strike against the Employer as defined in Act 379, P.A. 1965, as amended.
STRIKES AND STOPPAGES. 6.1 It is the intent of the parties of this Agreement that the procedure provided herein for the settlement of grievances shall serve as a means for peaceful settlement of all disputes that may arise between them.

During the continuance of this Agreement the Union agrees it will not counsel or permit its membersto cause, nor will any member of the Union take part in any sit-down, stay-in, or slowdown in the plant curtailment of work or restriction of or interference with production of the Company, and the Union will not cause or permit its membersto cause, nor will any member of the Union take part in any strike or stoppage of any of the Company’s operations or picket Company’s plant or premises. The Company reserves the right to discipline any employee who violates any provision of this section. The Company agrees that during the continuance of this Agreement it will not cause or sanction a lockout. In the event of a strike or other interference with the Company’s operations not properly authorized as herein defined, and within twenty-four (24) hours after receipt of written notice from the Company of such violation, the Union will disclaim the violation to the Company in writing and advise the employees in violation to cease the violation and follow the terms of this Agreement.
STRIKES AND STOPPAGES. (58) The Union agrees that there shall be no strike, work stoppage, or interruption or impeding of work in the plant, and the Company agrees that there shall be no lockouts. The Company reserves the right to discipline any employee taking part in any violation of this section of this Agreement.

It is agreed that all Union Representatives actively discourage any such work stoppage. have a special obligation to Section 2 The Company shall have the right to discharge or otherwise discipline employees who take part in or instigate any strike, stoppage or slowdown, but a claim of unjust discharge or treatment may be the subject of a grievance and dealt with as provided in the Grievance Procedure.
