Straight time rate - means the hourly rate of remuneration.
Straight time work. When the need to call in additional personnel is known more than three (3) hours in advance, the Employer will, without unreasonable delay, contact or call qualified employees who have met the notification and availability requirements for straight-time work, in order of seniority. The Employer shall give priority to employees in the affected unit and classification. The Employer will also make reasonable efforts to assure that part-time employees will be offered additional hours of work (beyond their regularly posted schedules) before offering the work to relief or temporary employees.
