Common use of Steps Clause in Contracts

Steps. Step 1: The designated Union representative, with or without the employee, shall attempt to resolve the matter by requesting a Step 1 grievance meeting, in writing, with the Court Administrator or designee. The Court Administrator or designee shall schedule a meeting to discuss the grievance with the designated Union representative within seven (7) calendar days of the request and shall respond, in writing, to the Union within seven (7) calendar days of the meeting.
