Steps in the Grievance Procedure. (a) Step 1 An Employee who has a grievance shall, within twenty (20) days of the date of the incident, or reasonably should have become aware of, the incident which lead to the grievance, discuss the matter with the General Manager. The General Manager shall advise the Employee of their decision in writing within twenty (20) days of the Employee first making them aware of the matter. In the event that it is not resolved to the satisfaction of the Employee, it may be advanced in accordance with the following steps.
