Step Two – Superintendent. 1. The Union and the Employee shall then, within five (5) work days, meet with the Superintendent to discuss the grievance.
Step Two – Superintendent. In the event the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his grievance at Step One, or if no decision has been communicated within ten (10) days after presentation of his grievance at Step One, he may within ten (10) days file a copy of the grievance with the Association’s Grievance Committee. If the Committee decides that there is a legitimate grievance, the grievance shall be presented to the Superintendent within ten (10) days. The Superintendent will meet with the grievance committee within ten (10) days after receiving the grievance and shall complete his decision in writing within ten (10) days after this joint meeting.
Step Two – Superintendent. A. If the meeting between the grievant and the Immediate Supervisor does not resolve the grievance to the grievant's satisfaction, the grievant may within seven (7) days appeal the Immediate Supervisor's decision to the Superintendent by filing a written notice of appeal with the Superintendent. The written notice shall contain all written documentation exchanged between the Immediate Supervisor and the grievant at the first level of the grievance procedure.
Step Two – Superintendent i. The grievance must be filed in writing no later than ten (10) days after the decision of the immediate supervisor from Step One.
Step Two – Superintendent i. If the complaint, dispute, controversy or disagreement is not resolved under Step One, the original grievance, together with the response of the Principal, shall be presented in writing to the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after the Building Principal’s written response.
Step Two – Superintendent. If within ten (10) working days of the informal meeting the grievance is not resolved, it may be reduced to writing per Appendix B of the Agreement and submitted to the Superintendent who will then have ten (10) days to respond.
Step Two – Superintendent. If the grievant is not satisfied with the response received in Step One, he/she may within ten (10) days of receipt of such written response submit the written grievance to the Superintendent as a request for a Step Two hearing. At a mutually agreeable time within ten (10) days of the filing of the grievance, the Superintendent shall schedule and hold a hearing of the grievance which shall be limited to discussion of the issue(s) being grieved and the appropriate relief. Within ten (10) days of the hearing, the Superintendent shall provide the grievant with a written response stating his/her disposition of the grievance.
Step Two – Superintendent. If the discussion at step one does not resolve the grievance to the satisfaction of the employee, such employee shall have the right to file a written grievance with the Superintendent (APPENDIX A). If such grievance is not filed within fifteen (15) days after the occurrence of the act or condition which is the basis of said grievance, said grievance shall be waived.
Step Two – Superintendent. 19 If the grievant feels that the grievance is not resolved at Step One, and the Association believes 20 the grievance is valid, he/she may refer the grievance in writing to the superintendent. This 21 written grievance shall contain a copy of the grievance filed at Step One, the Step One response 22 and a statement by the grievant as to why the Step One response is not correct. The Step Two 23 grievance must be received by the superintendent within ten (10) days of the grievant’s receipt 24 of the Step One decision. 26 The superintendent or designee shall review the matter and arrange for necessary discussions 27 with the grievant. The superintendent/designee shall respond to the grievance in writing within 28 ten (10) days of receipt of the Step Two grievance.
Step Two – Superintendent. If the grievance remains unsettled after the response in Step One, the Union may submit a written grievance to the appropriate Division Superintendent within ten (10) business days of the Step One response. The Superintendent shall schedule a conference with the Union within ten
