Step Movement. During the period from September 1, 2009 through August 27, 2011, there shall be no non-probationary step movements, including any step movement provided for in other provisions of this Agreement. Step movement shall resume on August 28, 2011. Employees hired or promoted between September 1, 2009 and August 27, 2011 shall not receive a probationary step increase. Upon resumption of step movement, the employee’s step date shall be the employee’s date of hire or promotion. No retroactive movement shall occur for the two (2) years that have been skipped. Upon resumption of step movement, newly hired employees will move to the next step in their pay range after completion of their probationary period. In periods other than September 1, 2009 through August 27, 2011, newly hired employees hired on or after November 1, 2015 will move to the next step in the pay range after completion of one hundred eighty (180) days in active pay status, and every year thereafter provided the employee has successfully completed his/her probationary period.
Step Movement. A. During the 2019-20 work year, step movement will be granted to employees who are eligible for step movement.
Step Movement a. Effective July 1, 2019, teachers will receive annual steps in accordance with 4.2.4 below.
Step Movement. Teachers who are eligible for step movement for the 2021-2022 school year will move one step above the step they were in during the 2020-2021 school year.
Step Movement a. For the 2021-2023 bargaining agreement, no step increases due to conversion to the new wage scale
Step Movement. For each year of the contract, faculty members who have not been on an improvement plan during the year will receive one (1) step of movement on the salary schedule. Step movement beyond the terms of this Agreement shall not be considered a continuation of this contract and is subject to the bargaining process.
Step Movement. A teacher must be actively employed by the District for a minimum of ninety (90) days to qualify for a step increment (if applicable) unless otherwise provided in this Agreement.
Step Movement. Annual advancement on the salary schedule via step movement is recognized as a component of the employee’s compensation. Annual step movement, as a part of compensation, will be implemented contingent upon and after final contract agreement on compensation between the parties. One step movement will be provided to eligible employees (employed on June 30, 2016 2019) effective July 1, 2016 2019. One step movement will be provided to eligible employees (employed on June 30, 2017 2020) effective July 1, 2017 2020. One step movement will be provided to eligible employees (employed on June 30, 2018) effective July 1, 2018.
Step Movement. All members of the bargaining unit that served the District the previous contract year, except those that were on step 16, shall advance one step for the 2018-2019 school year. Step Movement. Effective the pay period including July 1, 2003, there shall be no non-probationary step movements, including any step movement provided for in agency specific agreements. Step movement shall resume on the pay period including July 1, 2005. No retroactive movement shall occur for the two (2) years that have been skipped. Freezing of step movements shall not affect the performance evaluation schedule. Newly hired employees will move to the next step in their pay range after completion of probation. In periods other than July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2005, subsequent step movement shall occur after one (1) year of successful completion of probation provided the employee receives an overall rating of “satisfactory”. Correction Officers and Juvenile Correctional Officers shall receive their initial step increase upon the completion of their probationary period or six (6) months of service as a Correction Officer or Juvenile Correctional Officer which ever comes first. All employees of the Department of Youth Services and the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction assigned to classifications which required a one hundred twenty (120) day probationary period pursuant to the previous Agreement, which expired on February 28, 1997, which require a one hundred eighty (180) day probationary period, as set forth in Article 6 shall be eligible for a step increase in the pay period following the successful completion of one hundred twenty (120) days of the probationary period. If the employee’s performance evaluation is not completed on time, the employee shall not be denied a step increase.
