Common use of Step II – Superintendent Clause in Contracts

Step II – Superintendent. If the grievant or the Association is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Step I, or if no decision has been rendered within ten (10) days after presentation of the grievance, then the grievance, within ten (10) days, may be referred to the superintendent or the superintendent's designee. The superintendent/designee shall arrange for a meeting with the grievant to take place within ten (10) days after receipt of the appeal. Upon conclusion of the meeting, the superintendent will have ten (10) days to provide the grievant with a written decision.

Upon conclusion of the meetinghearing, the superintendent will have ten seven (107) days to provide the grievant Grievant and the Association with a written decision.
