For these statutory submissions, the data team will work with the EDIT team, as indicated in the EDIT Team SLA; to support XXXx data exports of statutory returns, and ensure secure data transfer via the Rochdale Schools Intranet or S2S. The data team will ensure data quality checks and approve school's data before submitting it to the DfE on their behalf. DfE has responsibility to approve Academies returns once submitted and completed on COLLECT by the school. It is the schools responsibility to produce and admissible return that meets the DfE specification. An appropriate data processing and information sharing agreement needs to be in place between the school and LA.
